First single from Cher's new movie "Burlesque" with Christina Aguilera, the remixes were just digitally delivered: (Almighty Club Mix) 7:11 (Almighty Radio Edit) 3:34 (Almighty Dub) 7:16 (Dave Aude Club Mix) 7:14 (Dave Aude Dub) 6:27 (Dave Aude Radio Edit) 3:57 (StoneBridge Club Mix) 6:50 (StoneBridge Radio Edit) 3:50 (StoneBridge Dub) 5:33 (StoneBridge Club Instrumental) 6:50 www.burlesquethemovie.comSo far my favorite is Almighty's, followed by Stonebridge, then Dave Aude as a distant third - I don't like the way he messed up the rhythm of the verses just to fit some computer program's preset 32-count template. Other than that, pretty solid production though - none of these mixes are bad. Can't wait to play this out tonight and see which one my crowd prefers! update: apparently I'll only be playing one mix tonight for my club, and that's the Almighty one. After I sat down to edit down the Stonebridge mix to a shorter length I was shocked to discover he forgot to include the vocals from the last 1/2 of the song! About 2 minutes into the album version, the song changes keys and finishes the whole entire rest of the song in the key of Bb. Stonebridge left out ALL these vocals, which is simply baffling to me. I haven't been this disgusted since Full Intention ruined "Through The Rain" for Mariah Carey back in 2003. Unbelievable that Cher or her label would approve such a desecration of the song. The Almighty Mix was a bit strange on the keys too -- they properly put it into Bb at the climax of the song, 4 mintues into their mix...but then the final 3 minutes of the club mix goes right back into the key of Ab again! Totally bizarre. I had to *really* work hard to chop down my own re-edit of that to play out in clubs. I hope they release a mixshow version which fixes this. So yeah, overall this was kind of a strange remix package, probably the A&R person who approved the mixes doesn't know too much about music theory and stuff. But hey, it's Cher so I can't complain too much :)

She should have got ralphi or Tony to do a mix( although Tony has his new original track which is better!)

I'm glad they did commission some mixes for songs from Burlesque. Some of the other Christina songs would translate well into dance mixes if they were to get some done.

Liking the Almighty and Dave Aude mixes the most. Stonebridge's is just . I don't care for that one at all. The mia vocals is what sealed the deal. It just doesn't work that well. It's a shame because I usually love his work. It's nice to have some new Cher mixes.

I don't feel like Diane Warren songs translate well to the dancefloor...
"can't fight the moonlight" and "unbreak my heart" being big exceptions

I don't feel like Diane Warren songs translate well to the dancefloor... "can't fight the moonlight" and "unbreak my heart" being big exceptions I SOOO disagree. You have "Spanish Guitar," "I Learned From the Best," Henri's "When You Walk Away" (originally Cher), "If I Was A River," "I Want You To Need Me" and the list goes on and on. I'm really loving the Dave Aude mix of this, although I would love to hear some unofficial mixes on the more tribal tip.

I just hope this song explodes this week after the movie opens. She better get an Oscar nomination in the song category!

Am I alone here when I say I like the song, but feel the remixes are missing something? Specifically, I can't imagine dancing to any of them (but they are nice to listen to at gym while I'm working out). Dave Aude's mix has a strong production value, especially during the last couple minutes when he uses the vocals almost in an uplifting trance style to repeat that phrase "You haven't seen the last of me." I wish a big name remixer in the gay USA circuit scene like Tony Moran would do a big tribal, anthemic remix....please??!! or Rosabel? Or Manny Lehman? somebody say Tracy Young? Jamie Sanchez? Anyone! XOXO

I loved Hex's versions of the first two, plus Junior's disco mix of the second one also. "If I Was A River" had gorgeous Nikolas & Sibley mixes. Am I alone here when I say I like the song, but feel the remixes are missing something? Tracy and film or theatrical music just work so well together (like her mixes for the Rent song or her Living Theater series).

I'm still dying to get a copy of the video footage of her singing this in the movie (it literally brought a tear to my eye when I saw it in the theatre, it was SO AMAZING and so moving!!!) to do a remix video for all the DJ's to play out in clubs, but so far nothing's surfaced. If anyone can help please msg me!

There are additional mixes by Johnny Vicious.
Bertrand posted the names of the mixes at DJRicoMixshow:
Vicious Warehouse Remix (8:27) Vicious Club Remix (6:50) Vicious Dub (7:28) Vicious PrivΓ© Remix (6:28) Vicious Warehouse-A-Pella (8:28) Vicious Warehouse Acapella (6:01) Vicious Warehouse Instrumental (8:28)
I sort of like these. The production is kinda Rauhofer-ish. I do wish he had used much more of the vocals. I also wish the acapella didn't have so many effects and stuff.

There are additional mixes by Johnny Vicious. Vicious Warehouse Remix Vicious Club Remix Vicious Dub Vicious PrivΓ© Remix Vicious Warehouse-A-Pella Vicious Warehouse Acapella Vicious Warehouse Instrumental All the mixes are basically the same, the difference is in the chorus part, where they use different vocal loops and more/less synths. I'm not really feeling these :(... I guess Vicious fans will like them

There's a re-edit of the Johnny Vicious mix by Jonathan Peters.
-Jonathan Peters Edit (6:45)
I think it's a little better than the initial Johnny versions in certain portions, but it's a mess overall. There are many places where the vocals get lost in the instrumental.
