Mariah Vs. Jump Smockers

I have heard a few of the mixes and they are just so-so. That said, I am not a huge fan of Jump Smokers' work. I do like some of their work, but not this. I don't think a project of this nature was necessary, considering that the parent album had underperformed the way that it did. I enjoyed the album though. :)

An EP maybe featuring a few of the songs with the collaborations (like those new versions of "Angels Cry" with Ne-Yo or "Up Out My Face" with Nicki Minaj) and a few others would have possibly been a better option. Considering this remix album never saw the light of day officially, it was a waste. I still wonder what took them so long to finally realize that this was not a good idea.

Agreed. Their remix of Obsessed was ok, but not spectacular. and another one I heard of theirs of Mariah, I didn't really like.

I wonder why they even thought such a remix album with just remixes by them would be successful.

JS is certainly a big step down from all her amazing work with Morales back in the day. The only mix I didn't mind by them was "H.A.T.E.U.," but that's probably because it didn't really sound like them.

Me really likes Languishing and Betcha Gon Know mixes, also H.A.T.E.U., Obsessed and Angels Cry ones that I really liked before, the "Up Out My Face" mix it's not bad but it needed something harder to make it perfect.

I think it's a good album IMO :)
