I still love this song alot. It's too bad the video was not out sooner because I feel it did nothing for the song because it came out waaay to late. It's still another #1 for Britney!

This song is actually doing very well on the Dance charts. It spent a week at #1 on Hot Dance/Club Play chart (6th #1) and it's been #1 for 3 weeks on Billboard Dance Airplay chart (3rd #1). Her biggest hit on the Airplay chart was Gimme More which spent 6 weeks at #1. Maybe this can surpass it.

This is raw, but it's the lead vocals lifted from the backing vocals. It takes work but there's software you can use to achieve this. I don't think this is heavily touched though, if only because that final chorus you can really hear her struggle a little with the notes like she's forcing them out. Not only that, but in the main choruses her voice is incredibly crisp. It sounds very natural. And just for the record (no pun intended), the way she sings "hazy" is.. really how she sings. |

I don't remember ever seeing a spin loss as large as the one this currently has (or even any others than were -2000), meaning this could very well have set a record for largest spin gain (it was broken not too long after, but it still counts, as it set a record at the time) and spin loss, which would be pretty impressive.
Also, having two songs with spin changes of over 2000 at the same time is definitely a first as well.

^ Well at least it's starting to "slow" its fall on Pop....lol. I hope airplay and sales can at least stabilize a bit with the upcoming promo. Would be nice if this could continue selling at some level and eventually get to 1.5 million....

Yup. Upcoming promotion is key in giving this song some great longevity. I wouldn't be surprised to see it back in the top 20 for a week.
That said, this song has been doing pretty OK by itself.
5 weeks in the top 10, 8 weeks in the top 20 and 10 weeks in the top 50 is nothing to worry about.
