Mary confirmed it was false? There is live media of her talking to the interviewers about her grievances with Aguilera in the past few posts. How is that false? Puh-lease... Mary J was on crack when she said that mess. |

I really hope she has a few tracks similar to 'Save Me From Myself' on her next album. Her understated vocal performance on that song is gorgeous. Her look in the video is perfect, too.

"I Am" was my absolute favorite from the album and one of my all-time Christina favorites, so yes, I agree. Love SMFM, too. |

the mary j thing is bullsh1t even mary j confirmed it was all false. Mya? Giuliana depandi? Are u serious? Giuliana apparently started it though. This was a few years ago. She supposedly said something about how Christina was rude to her on the red carpet. And then in some interview she responded that Giuliana was the rude one and she doesn't talk to people who are like that. But based on what many have said about Giuliana, she doesn't behave professionally at all times. |

She sounded fantastic during the rehearsal. :o Too bad they didn't record that vocal and use it for the actual performance.

Ok, she forgot a few words. It's not the end of the world. When was the superbowl considered some sacred event? The quarterback for Pittsburgh was charged twice with rape and suspended at the beginning of the season. Michael Vick the sicko is in the pro-bowl. but somehow if Xtina or Fergie mess up they are the villans? So ridiculous!

The rehearsal's an improvement, but she's still strained on the big notes "rockets red glare"--she really barely makes it and cuts it off quickly. Not going through the whole song was probably a mistake. Maybe she could have practiced a less vocally intense ending that would have suited her voice better.

Although it is by no means a great version, her rehearsal was a huge improvement. This proves how nerve-wrecking it must be to sing live at the Super Bowl. Carrie's rehearsal was also significantly better than her actual performance (perfection, tbh). I feel bad for Christina. She's getting WAY too much heat.

She didn't miss the lyrics in the rehearsal but she still sounded bad going in towards the end.
Ane if she would've got the lyrics right on the live version she still sounded a hot mess.

Xtina just mixed up some words to a song that's pretty hard to sing. She's got one of the best voices out there.
