I figured it had something to do with a soundtrack. She should just release SMHYB and Express as singles, they have the potential to be hits.

OK this is just ridiculous... Christina Aguilera Sued Over 'Ain't No Other Man' Sample In the latest instance of bad news for Christina Aguilera, a new lawsuit filed against Sony Music reportedly claims that the label hasn't paid for a sample used in the singer's Grammy-winning 2006 hit, "Ain't No Other Man." "Ain't No Other Man," which was produced by hip-hop stalwart DJ Premier and reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, utilized a sample of the 1968 tune "Hippy Skippy Moon Strut," by Dave Cortez & the Moon People. According to TMZ, publishing company TufAmerica purchased the exclusive rights to "Moon Strut" in 2004, but Sony Music made a deal with Codigo Music and the Clyde Otis Music Group to sample the song. In a federal lawsuit filed in New York, TufAmerica is allegedly asking for Sony to void the other publishing companies' claims on the song, as well as for punitive damages. TufAmerica could not be reached for comment at press time. Although the lawsuit does not directly affect Aguilera, it continues a month of negative press for the singer, who was arrested for public intoxication on Mar. 1. On a more positive note, Aguilera was added as the third coach on NBC's upcoming singing competition series "The Voice" last week, joining Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5's Adam Levine when the show premieres Apr. 26. The first headline I read was even more ridiculous-it was like "CHristina Aguilera steals song" or something. Then the entire article was like, oh it wasn't stealing at all, the sample has always been acknowledged, and Christina has nothing to do with it actually. I guess whatever gets headlines is what works whether it is accurate or professional or not.

WSJ is reporting Burlesque has officially grossed $100 million. *yet Burlesque is still a flop* Burlesque has yet to top $90 million at the global box office. The WSJ has made no mention of Burlesque topping $100 million: online.wsj.com/search/term.html?KEYWORDS=Burlesque&mod=DNH_S In the newest article they made the embarrassing mistake of saying it's "racing towards $100 million." An absolute joke. It only has a couple markets left internationally, made next to nothing internationally this weekend, and is closed domestically. Again, the amount of money grossed is irrelevant. Grosses compared to investment is what matters. Go ask *any* studio executive or box office analyst.

South Korea is a huge market for movies and for Christina since she's really popular there. I'm not saying it will gross 100 million but it will be very damn close to it once its all said and done. Either way your a known hater anyway so I don't think you should even have any input in any Christina topic.

Did Bionic really only sell 274,000 in the US? That's abysmal. I'm glad Burlesque has been doing at least something for her.

TMZ has learned ... Christina Aguilera has quietly put her home on the market -- the home she bought from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne -- for $13.5 million. Aguilera's move comes just weeks after her divorce from Jordan Bratman, and a week after her arrest for public intoxication. Aguilera bought the 8,900 square foot house near the border of Bev Hills for around $11 million in 2008. www.tmz.com/2011/03/07/christina-aguilera-selling-osbourne-home-ozzy-sharon-divorce-arrest/

You worked on two songs Little Dreamer and Birds of Prey for CHRISTINA AGUILERA's album Bionic which ended up as bonus tracks on the final release. Have you had time to reflect on whether you found the experience worthwhile and are you pleased with the end result? Yes we are. We also seem to have gained more fans because of it and are very happy that she chose to work with us because she was a fan of our music, rather than someone from her label deciding they liked our sound and getting a more commercial songwriter to write her song in that vein. Source: www.electricity-club.co.uk/html/ladytron.htmlI hope she works with them again BIRDS OF PREY is probably one of the bests songs I have ever heard of any artist period. Little Dreamer is also a good song. In a perfect world she would have released BIRDS OF PREY and the video would have been directed by Floria Sigismondi.

'Burlesque' cashes in with rentals (#1) & DVD sales (Top 5) What looks to be the biggest sales week so far of 2011 is shaping up to be a battle for the top spot between Disney’s new Bambi Blu-ray and the first full week for DreamWorks’ Megamind. But in a crowded field, anything is possible. New releases Burlesque, Love & Other Drugs and 127 Hours are also strong contenders for a top 5 debut, giving the charts a much-needed shake-up after several slow weeks. Burlesque is the biggest new title without a delay to kiosks, so it is the likely top rental for the week. www.homemediamagazine.com/research/projections-animated-hits-squaring-off-23250Amazing. Burlesque was at almost 88 millions 2 weeks ago,by now it has passed 90 million, you will see soon. With Turkey and South Korea 2 huge movie markets left,Burlesque can easilly gross over 100 million. Not true when it made 500,000 in Australia only last week. The last official update we got was 2 weeks ago and burlesque was at almost 88 million. I'm gonna wait for official updates from Box office mojo.

EXCLUSIVE - Christina Aguilera's NEW Fragrance 'Secret Potion!'Despite the trouble surrounding pop star Christina Aguilera in recent weeks, Life & Style can exclusively reveal that the singer is launching a new fragrance. On March 3 Christina did a photo shoot for her new perfume, Secret Potion. Her son Max was on set with his mom, an insider close to Christina tells Life & Style. "He wasn't feeling good, so she wanted to take care of him and make sure they were together," the insider reveals."She's trying to spend as much time as possible with him while she works, so Max brought his toys and played with his little cars while she did the shoot." This is one of the many perfume launches for Christina, her last was 'Royal Desire' released in September 2010. Source: www.lifeandstylemag.com/2011/03/xtinas-new-perfume.html

Considering the names involved (whereas it is acting, directing and producing the soundtrack), and considering that the movie's budget was of 55 M - but sources claims it actually was in the 60-70 M range), not reaching 100 M being out since november is a FLOP wether you are a hater or a stan.
