I believe this show has definitely raised her profile. She needs to strike it while it is hot and get something released within the 4th quarter of this year.

I agree. She needs a single out by September/October. She's in the perfect position to launch a comeback.

Yes she is. This show is so much better than Idol. She is doing a great job on there. I just hope the show doesn't use the judges as promotional tools for their own careers like on Idol and lose focus on the contestants. It can turn off potential new fans. The audience needs to fall in love with these new judges, they need to get to know Christina instead of the garbage they read or hear. I think so far so good. I am so happy for her potential huge success with this show.

I mean, yeah, she's in a great position to promote herself again in a positive light. But, I'm still worried. Back II Basics, Burlesque and Bionic were all very mediocre and disappointing efforts from Christina. Just because she's popular again doesn't necessarily mean she can crank out hit material. But yes, she should take advantage like RIGHT NOW.

JLo's recording and movie career was pretty non existence prior to her Idol gig. It took Idol to get her back to #1 and on a pretty mediocre song and with some serious lip singing. I refuse to believe that America will keep rewarding mediocre vocals compared to Christina's vocals. Not to diss other artists but really America you can't be serious. With the right music and the right image she will be back on top. Christina needs to know that she's been in the game for 15yrs now and she is known for her voice. Mediocre singers can get away with distraction but America wants and expects better from her. Bionic was a mess with the whole S&M distraction. YLM was a beautiful song but by that time her launch was screwed. As for her acting debut, no one expected her to be Meryl Streep but she got decent reviews and it was a stepping stone for her that help removed some of Bionics bad reviews. If she is handled right I see a very promising career for her future and she doesn't need to have #1 hit songs. She's been there and done that. Grammys anyone? The entertainment industry is very wide and I rather see her expand her horizon than fight for album sales and limit herself. JMO.

I loved Back 2 Basics and Burlesque's music was great for what it was (a deliberately cheesy movie musical) so I have to disagree there. Bionic was pretty disappointing though. Really, Bionic is the one black mark on an otherwise pretty solid recording career for me. The next cd being a Stripped/Back to Basics combination would make me love her all over again.

Bionic IMO was a great album that needed about 2-3 tracks removed or rearranged with tracks from the deluxe album, remove the interludes, and release a different first single and that album could've been a hit. Also the look for the era wasn't right. She had some hit material in their. They just gave up too soon.

Christina Aguilera Attacked on the set of "The Voice"

During a filming of the episode, we saw an extremely fiery sing-off between Frenchie Davis and Taralynn Ramsey. To top it off, the song choice for them was not the best fit for either of their voices.
Aguilera addressed some conflicts that the singers were having during coaching sessions. She commented that she was glad the they were able to come together and pull it off in the ring. Ultimately, Aguilera’s final decision on whom to keep resulted in a minimal physical attack to her by the competitor’s family member in which Aguilera called-out for security while off-stage according to several audience witness testimonials.

I wish we could find out Burlesque's overall sales. It did pretty well in other countries too so its total could be like, 700-900K range given what we know in America. Not an OMG SMASH UNBELIEVABLE HIT, but definitely enough to offset the massive losses that people are still convinced Burlesque made for its makers ;)

Burlesque did good for Christina, on a ww level it brought in more money than it's budget. So thats a plus. As far as Bionic goes it was a good album, the wrong singles were chosen. She should have went with "YLM" first, Primadonna, "LMU", "Bionic" and they should have added "Birds Of Prey" as a single rather than as a bonus track. There were lots of potential hits on that album. But it was a good album.

Ok so I just finished watching all 3 episodes of "The Voice" and I love it and think I may be in love with her again. I forgot how sassy she was (can you drop your pants?) and I like the dynamic between her and Adam. Tbh, I think she wants that dick.
