the song is soooooooo beautiful. She definitely sing and sounds better in Spanish. Christina can sing anything and make it sound magical

And not to be ugly but yeah, Christina's participation on the song is laugable at best so to say the song is at the #1 posisition is a bit far stretched. That's a poorly-worded way to describe it. In retrospect, yes. You are correct. |

The more success this song gets the more people will try to discredit Christina. Because I bet your ass if this song flopped a certain group of people would blame it on Christina. But whatevs.  I never discredit Christina, she's one of my favs! I give credit where it's due. Although it's cool that a song she's featured in is #1 on itunes, I do think it would've been there whether she was on it or not. especially after Maroon 5 performed it on The Voice. |

That doesn't even make sense. It's #1 because both Christina and THE VOICE gave it the momentum to go all the way to #1. People act as if M5 has been HOT lately and anything they touch go #1. I am far from a M5 fan but I only bought the track because I STAN for Christina and I know I'm not the only one.

I think it is a #1 between the combined forces of M5, Christina, and the Voice. Take out any from the equation and I don't think it would still be sitting at #1. This is Pulse-we have seen the power of combining fanbases before and hit tv shows backing that. Christina alone, M5 alone, or even them without The Voice and I doubt it would still be #1 with semi-big lead right now.

I think you misunderstood that comment. Someone came in here and said that Christina literally had nothing to do with the song being at #1 and didn't help the song at all-another poster responded that it isn't like M5 has been hot or hitting #1 non-stop lately either which is true. If we are being honest, both artists have been really struggling lately. Bionic and M5's last cd sold about the same, both lead singles failed to become big hits, both subsequent singles failed to do much, both tours really struggled (Christina cancelled hers, M5 just decided to play non-sold out dates). It is truth that neither of them have been hot or hitting #1 lately. I don't get why anyone is getting angry over a statement of truth lol. That is why I think the collabo is pretty brilliant. The combined forces of the fanbase and the positive momentum and higher profile that The Voice brought the song from languishing to #1. |

Confirmed: 'La Casa' Is The Theme Tune For The NEW Movie 'Casa De Mi Padre'
The producer of the movie "Casa De Mi Padre" in an article with El Universal, Billy Rovzar said they got Christina to sign on to sing the theme song for the movie in 2010, and the song 'La Casa' will be included in the film which will be released this year and stars Will Ferrel.
In the article it also says that Christina was suppose to make her film debut in a Mexican film directed by Alfredo de Villa, but she fell pregnant and ended up having to cancel the project.

That doesn't make sense. Her fanbase is huge in getting her to trend and having an online presence but not in buying her cds so far. Being on the show may change that and should due to the 'The Voice audience viewership but we won't know until she releases a solo single or another cd. |
