Stripped-style anyone? She just needs to dye her hair black! I'd be fine with black streaks (à la the 'Dirrty' / 'Beautiful' videos), but NO to solid black. IMO, black hair makes her look really trashy and gross. Um...nevermind  |

lol me too!! Xtina has a huge fanbase that is buying the song just because of Xtina!!! btw who cares of pulse haters?! ;) No dog in this fight but if her fanbase is soo huge why is 'Bionic' sitting at ~250k and 'Burlesque' sndtrk sitting at 406k even with Cher's fanbase? That doesn't make sense. Her fanbase is huge in getting her to trend and having an online presence but not in buying her cds so far. Being on the show may change that and should due to the 'The Voice audience viewership but we won't know until she releases a solo single or another cd. She might following in the footsteps of JLO...except JLO maximize her's with a song out while on Idol... Who knows? if she cleans up her act, she should be able to do well. I just wonder where her fanbase is going to take her next era. |

I think the opposite, black streaks (à la the 'Dirrty' / 'Beautiful' videos) makes her look trashy and slutty, but with solid black hair (ala Fighter/CHUD/The Voice Within videos), makes her look more elegant and beautiful. |

I'm on the fence about her Daryl Hannah in Splash hairdo. The outfit would have been a step in the right direction had she swapped those tired leggings for a pair of jeans but I digress. On a more positive note, during her black hair phase my favorite picture of her was produced...  It's not so much about the hair color(s) that can make one look um 'trashy' but more so how the hair is styled. |

I really don't like black hair on her. solid black hair (ala Fighter/ CHUD/The Voice Within videos), makes her look more elegant and beautiful. I can't take this seriously.  She was the total opposite of "elegant and beautiful" in the 'Can't Hold Us Down' video. She even looked sort of trashy in 'The Voice Within'. It's not so much about the hair color(s) that can make one look um 'trashy' but more so how the hair is styled.  I've seen many girls who look trashy simply because of their hair color. Wow she looks amazing in that picture, jazzy. Does anyone have the picture of her with a really gorgeous green-teal long dress when she had dark hair? I keep on searching google images, but all that is coming up is that green dress she wore during one of the Burlesque appearances.
Google searching for her pretty black hair pictures and that dress has led me to believe that Christina is actually a very stunning girl when she wants to be.

I agree LPL, when styled right (hair, makeup, clothes) Christina can really be a head turner, for the right reasons. The Q Awards pic that you are talking about (which Leoapp posted) is one example where everything worked. I've seen many girls who look trashy simply because of their hair color. K. ;) |

Bionic will hit 500k in the US 1 day, and her soundtrack's heading there in a few months.
Whatever anyone says Burlesque was a hit, it's all about ww, and that false statement on movies having to double their budget reigns true anyways with the film's ww movie gross, and just the US DVD sales alone.

 I know that the looks going towards the Stripped Era and the actual era itself wasn't everyone's glass of milk but I enjoyed her gritty glamour (as I dubbed it) looks. Sure there were times when I thought she had on too much bronzer or that her extensions didn't look fresh et cetera but I felt that it was fitting to what she was doing. The others never really held my attention and to be quite honest, I felt that many were more 'tragic' than Christina on her worst day with her multiple piercings, overloaded bronzer & raggedy ass weave.    |
