If she'd worked with Timbo in 2005, maybe. But now? He was tired by the time Hard Candy was released - and that was three years ago.

Yeah, what about learning from past mistakes? Besides, she's said the new album is gonna be like Stripped. She doesn't need auto-shit as obvioulsy no one cared.

I doubt she's gonna use autotune. She wore a shirt that says "Autotune is for pussies". But yes she looks gorgeous in that commercial. Where can you get her perfumes anyway? I've only seen two of them and both of them were at Kohl's, I've never seen them anywhere else.

Timbaland can be a very talented producer, but he got stuck in one sound and hasn't emerged from it yet.

Christina is ready for a comeback. Heard Moves Like Jagger for the first time when I was over in Australia in September and she sounded great on it and like she was having fun. With the song's popularity (and her show, which I still haven't seen), people are warming up to her again, which is the way it should be. I've always loved X-tina!

I saw Stripped featured on an endcap today at Walmart lol. It was on sale for 10 dollars and the rest of the cds featured with it seemed random-like, some new, some old, and 10 isn't even the cheapest. It just feels like forever since I have seen a Stripped cd in stores. I wonder if they are clearing out old, old stock somehow? I mean, it is nearly a decade old now ha ha.

Christina Aguilera working on her voice for new album
Christina Aguilera’s latest single “Moves Like Jagger” is number 14 in Chicago this week and number one in the nation. Fans who are looking forward to new Christina Aguilera music need to be patient; Christina is working on making her almost-perfect voice even more perfect. She is working with acclaimed voice coach Seth Riggs.
This column is told that on her next album, you won’t hear Christina over-sing in the way that she has been criticized on her previous albums. She will also hit higher and lower notes. William Orbit is still on board for the album, though they haven’t worked in the studio together yet; William is finishing up Madonna’s next album.

Yes i do confirm that Christina is currently one of my clients. We are working on her clarity, methods of projections, resonance and incorporating my "speech level singing technique" into her overall technique, which I am sure will lead to the expansion of her overall range.
Thank you
Seth Riggs

Cool. I was worried that she would just half-ass her next era, but it sounds as though she's really taking this comeback seriously.

That's seriously great news. I really hope he's able to help her cause the majority of her live vocals from the past few months have been pretty questionable. The Burlesque promo was great overall, but she's done a few private concerts since then and she's just been all over the place. Poor breath support, going out of key, struggling more than ever to hit high notes... I dunno. She usually works it out in the studio so I'm not too worried about that. The promo and her ability to sustain her voice for an entire tour is really what makes me nervous.
With that said, she did give an amazing rendition of "At Last" at a show in Hong Kong recently. Probably the best vocal she's done in a while.

Good for her for taking the necessary steps to improve her vocal technique. I can't wait to hear the results--she's got a lot of talent to work with.

Christina & Matt in London Christina Aguilera flashes a quick smile as she arrives at the Sadler’s Wells Theatre on Thursday (October 6) in London, England. The 30-year-old singer brought along her beau Matt Rutler for an evening of dance! The Sadler’s Wells Theatre is one of the most prominent dance performance venues in England. The night before, Christina and Matt enjoyed a night out together at the Box Nightclub in London. Christina will be returning as a judge on the hit reality show The Voice when the show kicks off its second season on February 5 after the Super Bowl!

I am so excited about the vocal coach news. I have never really thought she was unable to sing anymore like most here. It always sounded like poor control/execution and then a misunderstanding of what people want to hear from a song. Like, when she would ad-lib through the entire second half instead of staying on melody/singing the lyrics. I am hoping a vocal coach will teach her how to use her voice more effectively.

Of course she can sing, she'll just be better technically. Not many here have doubted that she can sing.
