Ok, I actually saw Burlesque lol. A lot of my friends are performers and dancers so they want to see every dance or performance related movies. A few notes
1. Christina is not a great actress, but in all honesty she wasn't like a sore thumb in this film. It seemed like several of the actual professional actors and actresses gave pretty average or bad performances so she seemed to fit in ha ha.
2. It was an enjoyable cheesy film-none of my friends are Christina fans or care about the mainstream pop world, but we all had fun watching and joking around during it. One of my dancer friends entertained us by imitating one of the dances
3. The ballad moment for Christina toward the end was one of the best-her voice and delivery were perfection. The pop world is going to lose a massive talent if they throw her away-I still haven't seen anyone in the past decade who can deliver a classic ballad quite like Christina. If her label doesn't have a radio friendly ballad for her on her next album to be her new Beautiful or WBT type song I will rage in here endlessly about it especially since ballads are being given a chance now.

Christina Aguilera of NBC‘s The Voice has yet again become the victim of false rumors, as the web has been buzzing about the mentor being fired from the show. Today, those rumors were put to rest as it has been revealed that Christina Aguilera did not get fired, nor is she leaving the series. Read on for more!



Earlier this week, rumors were flying that Christina Aguilera had been fired from The Voice, with one source who supposedly had an inside scoop, saying: “She doesn’t spend time with her contestants like she’s supposed to. She doesn’t participate. She spends most of her time on set with her boyfriend.” But, rest assured fans as now NBC has revealed that the rumors are just that – rumors!

Christina Aguilera is still under contract for the second season of the show, and NBC’s executive vice president, Paul Telegdy stated earlier today: “There is absolutely no truth to the rumor.” Christina Aguilera’s reps also confirmed that the rumor is untrue and were quick to point out that the show is a big hit because of Christina and fellow mentors, Blake Shelton, Cee-Lo Green and Adam Levine. We’re not sure why everyone is out to get Christina Aguilera lately, but her fans know better and can’t wait to see her again for the show’s second season!

The Voice’s second season premiere will take place right after the Superbowl on Sunday, February 5, 2012 and will then move to Mondays at 8 pm EST starting on Feb. 6! Are you excited for the show’s second season? We sure are!

People are so dumb with rumors-the producers love her, they pretty much rushed resigning her immediately because they wanted her back, and her contestants still say that they text/talk with her on a regular basis which leads me to believe she does "participate" with the contestants.
