"S&M" has been ahead of "E.T." in digital sales for most of the week, and "S&M" has higher airplay than "E.T." It all depends on how much this falls digitally over the weekend, and streaming points will probably be a deciding factor in which one prevails.
I still think "S&M" is getting it, though.

I really hope S&M gets the top spot on the hot 100 next week.
I mean, I love ET, but I love S&M more, and after Born this Way I don't want ET to turn into another one of those songs that's #1 for two months, but it feels like forever.

If it doesn't hit the top spot you best believe IDJ will lower one of if not both of the versions to 99 cents. Should barely squeak out another #1 for the bajan beauty though.
