Now I certainly don't condone violence but Britney could afford a punch in the gut. :o ONLY for the purpose of serving as a reminder, of course; one that reinforces her diaphragm after long enabling her nose as a viable instrument. But, all in all, I love the remix. "tell bottoms (or "top models", alternately) scream mercy" Oh, my. I couldn't possibly choose one over the other.  Wtf LOL |

if rihanna's team was DECIDED to secure that #1 spot, they'd do anything to get britney to perform with her on idol. i mean, it's probably not going to happen but i think that would not only secure the top spot this week, but it would also have it on lock for next week.
in any case, she HAS to perform S&M on idol tomorrow, she just has to. or a medley at least. this needs as much exposure as it can get this week so it goes #1, which is what they want.

idol is a singing competition first and foremost, so it wouldn't make much sense for Britney to be on Idol by herself since, you know, she kind of lips. But if she uses Rihanna to force her way in and maybe promote 'Till the World Ends' along with 'S&M' that's just as well.

That is actually shocking with how big she is and how long she lasted that this is her first notable feature. i have no idea where i read this (it was long ago) but Britney was wanted for "Lady Marmalade", but her team declined cos they thought it wouldn't fit her image at the time, and she was also wanted for "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely" with Ricky Martin, but again her team declined, so Christina was featured on the track. Bad move. That one won a Grammy and was a #1 smash. Read somewhere that she also turned down a duet with Nelly. |

I'm so thrilled and anxious! Next week's Hot 100 chart is going to be insane! The next 3-4 weeks, actually. I love how all the girls are dominating atm.
I cannot wait for tomorrow's performance either. I have higher hopes for S&M being performed now.
