Is it just me or does she look a lot better now than she did back in 2008? It's not just you. I think 2008 was when Madonna got her cheek implants, and her face has settled quite nicely since then.

I agree. Now it all looks more natural. Back then it was all a little tight and puffy. Beautiful woman!

she reminds me of Diana from the 80's TV miniseries V. I expect a lizard tongue to come flying out of her mouth, lol.

In some shots/appearances, the cheeks do look a tad too full- she looked like perfection at that MET Gala event from some months ago.
M says the first single from the album will be out February/March, with the album in the spring. She says she will be working on it until the end of the year.

^ Nor her love for the alleged botox.
Regardless, she looks nice.

^Whatever she has done, I don't know why she feels the need- but, I guess the "pressures" of stardom and the quest for eternal youth affect some more than others. I'm sure shew does use creams and such, but she surely has had stuff like botox and cheek implants done in the last few years. She looked natural at the MET Gala- maybe gaps in between treatments accounts for the varying looks.

I swear her face looks slightly different every time she makes a public appearance! Regardless, she's been looking incredible lately. Glad she's going for a more glamorous look, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's toning it down. It's just a different avenue. One which is less... well, LOOK AT MY VAGINA!!! I swear if she started dressing like she did then, she just wouldn't look any different.

So gorgeous!! I love this picture so much!! She looks like Julie Newmar here. Julie was my favorite Catwoman. Thanks for posting the pictures and info. Looking forward to the spring!

That's less than 6 months! Can't wait to find out the direction of the new album. Are there any confirmed producers/writers etc. she's working with?

I just hope that radios current love affair with upbeat music stays around for her to at least score some Top 40 love with more than one single.
Yes.....HolidayGuy...I know already what you are going to say. :)

^No, there's no need to. :)
Will be nice if she crafts a track that gets decent play, at the least, at Hot AC, which isn't as age-oriented as pop and rhythmic. I'd love to see some sophisticated uptempo music- that could spark some kind of interest.

^^agreed
If it's a decent track, it should get picked up. Upbeat music is such a broad term; you don't have to be churning out atypical Guetta house to be considered 'upbeat'. She'll always get interest spins, so if it's well-recieved, that should bode well. The difference between Madonna and other 'veteran' stars is that she's consistently one of the most talked about women in the media to this day. She hasn't faded from obscurity in the slightest.

I just hope whatever kind of dance music she comes back with it sounds absolutely NOTHING like the bottom of the barrel house by Guetta and the like that has been polluting radio recently.

Well, "Celebration" didn't bring many curiosity spins. :) It topped out at around 6m in BDS audience, by far the lowest of her career for a lead-off single. Granted, it didn't go for official play at pop radio and was from a compilation (which don't generate the kind of excitement they used to), but still- radio wasn't too interested.
Hopefully a new studio album will translate to a greater amount of interest/curiosity.

^And why is she No. 2 for you? Surely you recognize the difference in their... output. ;) Just joshin' really- of course I understand someone just enjoying one act more than another, no matter the talents, whatnot. If everyone's favorite was based on their output/talents, some of the biggest critical successes would have seen bigger commercial success.
It's looking like no Guetta for this album, so that should not be a problem. :) Even for tracks Guetta didn't produce, a lot of the stuff sounds like it came from that cloth as of late (Guetta, RedOne, Afrojack, etc.).

True, but that track was straight up euro-dance (and to be honest, not a great example). Great for the compilation, but I wouldn't have expected it to do that well. Plus the lack of official release, compilation etc...

^Barring a Titanic-like juggernaut, of course. ;)
Hopefully it will be a physical album, not just digital- this whole Live Nation deal and distribution is an unknown, really.

The $7.99 deal at iTunes lasted longer this time than when The Immaculate Collection first returned to iTunes back in April- the album currently shows at No. 94 on iTunes' overall album chart. Another week in the catalog 200 looks possible.
