i'm just glad it's going to be upbeat instead of a loungey, AC-type of album. I'm not ready for that yet, and i'm glad she isn't either. :)

I'm excited about them comparing this to Ray Of Light and Music, but at the same time that worries me because I don't like when artists try to recreate previous material. I'm pretty sure it seems like she is, but it's only because she is working with William Orbit, I'm sure it will sound fine. |

May'be they just mean that this album will have elements of those albums. It doesn't mean that she's aiming for that formula.

The closest M's given us to an AC, loungey album is the Something to Remember compilation. :)

I wouldn't mind lounge as in lounge house music from her when she gets a little older. I could see her doing a sexy, mature dance version of a Bedtime Stories type album with that sound. I'm definitely not interested in a traditional adult contemporary pop album from her though, and I'm sure she's not even interested in recording one.

I don't even think it's funny. I thought she was being a bitch initially but I didn't think it was really a big deal and that "bitchiness" is part of the reason I love her. This video looks like she's actually TRYING to be a bitch. I don't even know the last time I actually thought Madonna did something "childish," but that's how I'd describe that video.
