Whitney's tour did well financially> It's clear Rhianna's tour didn't do well in the US. She should do better this time around and I'm sure she will continue to do well in Europe. Usher is slaying.
Not sure why Carrie Underwood prices are lower than Taylor Swift's. She doing over 100 s hows for 1/2 the money???

Carrie's venues are on average less than half the size of Taylor's and even at that Carrie has far fewer proportion of sellouts than Taylor. That implies less demand for Carrie's tickets.
Law of supply vs demand. You can't ask for higher ticket prices if the demand isn't there.
Don't forget too that these charts only document the 2010 leg of Taylor's tour(47 shows)when her entire Fearless tour was 105 shows.

DMB is a touring machine. A lot of country acts (as usual) did great. Buble is a beast, too.

Taylor played many more upscale venues, and she also played internationally, which was a big factor in how her sales played out.
Carrie played a lot of average-sized arenas, and her usual audience was around 8k, and sold out a little over half of her tour. She had a few big venues that helped her out (Hollywood Bowl, Fargodome).
Overall, Carrie did better nationally. Taylor did better internationally.

Wow Taylor's tour did alot better internationally than I would have thought awesome :) And it's cool that with only 30 or so dates included in the national list that she is able to place so high with people touring 100 dates or so :)
Nice to see Buble so high too! He's a touring force!

I'm happy for everyone. Especially P!NK, after seeing 'Try This' not do so well, she's rebounded and found a solid footing very well! So, as a long time fan, i am thrilled for her...
