no surprises there, although it is interesting to see taylor swift in the top 25, basically shes the first country act to be in the top 25 on this poll. ( I follow it very closely.)

^^Nope, Miranda Lambert's Revolution was #25 last year and her previous album was #15. Dixie Chicks had also made the short list. And if you consider Neko Case and Drive by Truckers country acts, they'd also made the list more than once, I think. There may be more, but I'm too lazy to look.

Yeah- once you get past a certain number, it's like, "What's the point." Pazz N Jop even lists titles that receive only 1-2 mentions, which drags the list longer than it needs to be.
