This is the latest single from Loud. There are remixes by Dave Aude, Sidney Samson, and Joe Bermudez & Chico. Stream the edits here
I love the original version of this. I think that an extended version is all that is really needed. However, Dave Aude's mixes are really good. He managed to maintain the energy that the original has. He thankfully toned down some of the elements that made the original a tad cheesey. Those looking for something a bit harder and circuity might want to check out the Seth Cooper & Trypsin remix. soundcloud.com/dj-seth-cooper/rihanna-s-m-seth-cooper-trypsins-deep-rework

Dave Aude's mix is flat out amazing. I figured I wouldn't like these mixes much considering how good of a dance track the original is, but Dave Aude yet again surprised me with a fantastic mix. The only thing missing is an extended mix of the original.

Dave Aude's mix is solid if not overly spectacular. He's done much better work, but as far as delivering the best mix of the group, he accomplishes that and then some. I like some of his percussive flourishes which are slightly more noticeable than his usual mixes, so I'm sure it will sound great in a big room. I found Sidney Samson mixes to be extremely dull. Joe Bermudez & Chico mixes are fine but the Dave Aude mixes pretty much nails that sound already and pack way more punch.
I am expecting a bunch of harder remixers to take their turn on this track which is just begging for slammin' reworkings, especially for the theme, lyrics and overall catchiness of the song.

I rather like Dave Aude's mix, which is kind of uncommon for me. It's definitely his sound but it works exceptionally well with the track and is a real improvement. Very disco-dance, incredibly complimentary of the vocals. He really makes the track his own with this one, something I can't say with any mix of his he's done in recent memory.

Dave Aude's mix has a really similar bassline to Technotronic's 'Pump Up The Jam'. haha.

I'm not that big a Rihanna fan, but after everyone was talking about the Dave Aude mix I gave the radio edit a listen. I love the drop around 2:45, I'd like to hear a harder and darker mix with that sort of sound, even though the Aude mix is powerful in its own right, but to me it's still more of a 'fun' mix. I think this song could lend itself well to something a little more 'sinister' sounding if that makes sense. :)

^I agree with this somewhat. I still maintain that Aude's mix is amazing and all but I always imagined the song's lyrics to be better suited for a darker production.

With the Black Party coming to NY in March, I have a feeling this song will get some unofficial remixes that play up the harder-edged theme.

The mixes are now available on iTunes and are $1.29 each compared to $1.49 each on Masterbeat. I'm pleasantly surprised the label decided to release this EP to iTunes, since they didn't for "Only Girl" or "What's My Name".
In other news, I don't care for the Joe Bermudez and Sidney Samson mixes at all.

As well as 1/2 of his set comprising of any of his latest mixes. I'd like to think he'd spin his rarely heard masterpiece of Blu Cantrell's "Sleep In The Middle" but I'm not feeling that lucky. We shall see!

I want to hear more remixes of this song because I think it's some of Rihanna's best work. Dave Aude has the best remix because of his production but I feel it's a little too close to the original! I would like to hear something more for clubs and unrecognizable until the vocals come in. Make sense? ???

^ Agreed with all of the above. I'd also personally like to see Spin Sista work their magic on this one. (and a number of others, but I want to be surprised at what surfaces)

Keeping my ears to the ground on the tribal tip, I'm LOVING the Tommy Love Anthem Mix (5:59). Great bassline and some interesting maracas in the percussion.
I thought the Eddie Baez Mix showed some promise, and was a little underwhelmed by Edson Pride's mix, felt he could have given it a little bit more.
