Someone knows first week AI for Erotica, I'll Be There, That's The Way Love Goes, Fantasy, All For You and Black or White? All of these songs debuted inside top 10 Hot 100 Airplay, so definitely these songs had huge first week AI. Maybe Gaga can not only debut at the top 10 Hot 100 Airplay, but also break the record for the biggest first week AI?

Back in 90's AI's were lower since there was no so many stations and at some point hot airplay didn't include all airplay charts, I think it was only top40. No. 1 soung would usually have around 60-70M. On some board I read AFY had around 100M. Also, when Fantasy was #1 on top 40 it had around 4000 spins while nowdays #1 song gets more than 3 times more.

^I posted that "All For You" had 70 million BDS audience when it debuted at No. 9 on the Hot 100. "Born This Way" will come pretty darn close to that. But, AFY did bubble under the Hot 100 the week prior to its entry- 'Born This Way" will debut just from five days of play.

I would be very surprised if BEP are #2 with only 152k. That seems like a really low sales number for the #2 seller.

By storming the Billboard Hot 100 song chart at No. 1, Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" makes history as the 1,000th leading song in the list's 52-year history. "It is a tremendous honor," Gaga tells Billboard of the milestone. "To be the 1000th no. 1 on Billboard...I would be silly not to say this is the greatest honor of my career." Lady Gaga Central "I am so humbled and so honored and overwhelmed by the reception to 'Born This Way,' " Gaga adds. "[It] has been so life changing for me as an artist, and between Billboard and the international number ones and the radio numbers...I couldn't be more blessed to have the fans that I have." Fittingly for such a milestone, the first single and title track from Lady Gaga's third album, due May 23, arrives in record-breaking fashion. On Radio Songs, the Hot 100's airplay component chart, "Born This Way" begins at No. 6 with a first-week audience of 78.5 million. That's the highest bow and largest opening airplay figure for a song since the tally began incorporating all radio formats in December 1998. The arrival of "Born This Way" bests the previous debut record on Radio Songs, set when Janet Jackson's "All for You" soared in at No. 9 with 70 million in 2001. With opening-week digital sales of 448,000, "Born This Way" likewise breaks barriers with the largest debut sum for a female artist. Britney Spears established the prior mark four weeks ago upon, the arrival of "Hold It Against Me" (411,000). The opening of "Born" marks the third-largest debut among all digital tracks. Flo Rida's "Right Round" started with 636,000 in February 2009 and the Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" with 465,000 two months later. Notably, "Born This Way" rewrites airplay and digital history after just five days of availability at radio and three days at online retailers. The song is also just the 19th title to debut at No. 1 in the Hot 100's history. The 1,000th Hot 100 No. 1 is Lady Gaga's third chart leader, following her first two singles: "Just Dance," featuring Colby O'Donis (the 968th No. 1), and "Poker Face" (972), both in 2009. The Hot 100 currently ranks titles by employing a formula measuring radio airplay, as tabulated by Nielsen BDS; sales, according to Nielsen SoundScan; and, streaming activity data. The weekly survey launched in the pages of Billboard magazine in the issue dated Aug. 4, 1958, with Ricky Nelson's "Poor Little Fool" reigning over the inaugural listing. Among notable historic No. 1s, the Beatles' first of their record 20 toppers, "I Want to Hold Your Hand" (the 104th No. 1), reached the pinnacle the week of Feb. 1, 1964. Mariah Carey tallied her first No. 1 Aug. 4, 1990 (the chart's 32nd anniversary), with "Vision of Love," her first of 18 No. 1s, the most among women. Her "One Sweet Day," with Boyz II Men, logged the chart's longest reign - 16 weeks - in 1995-96. Michael Jackson, the leader among solo males with 13 No. 1s, first reigned as a solo artist on the Hot 100 dated Oct. 14, 1972, with "Ben." Having reached No. 1 the week of March 21, 1981, REO Speedwagon's "Keep on Loving You" represents the chart's 500th leader. P.M. Dawn's "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss" (the 761st No. 1) marked the chart's first champion since the Hot 100 converted to BDS electronically-monitored airplay measurement and SoundScan point-of-sale data in November 1991. Breaking down the Hot 100's history by decade, 226 songs ruled in the '50s/'60s; 253 in the '70s; 231 in the '80s; 140 in the '90s; and, 150 beginning in 2000. With the chart's 1,000 No. 1s spread over 2,743 weeks, the average leader has spent 2.74 weeks at the top spot. Only one song has made trips to the summit in each of two chart runs. Chubby Checker's "The Twist" led the Sept. 24, 1960, chart. Re-released, it returned to No. 1 the weeks of Jan. 13-20, 1962. When Billboard celebrated the Hot 100's 50th anniversary in 2008, Checker's dance classic ranked as the top title of the chart's first half-century.

Wild numbers. Makes sense to reference only the all-inclusive airplay panel, rather than pre-December1998.

www.billboard.com/#/news/now-37-livens-up-billboard-200-at-no-1-1005037432.storyKaty Perry's "Firework" rises 7-2 (170,000; up 40%) -- a gain aided by its tribute on last week's episode of "Glee" -- while P!nk's "F**kin' Perfect" holds at No. 3 (153,000; down 18%). The Black Eyed Peas' "The Time (Dirty Bit)" bumps 11-4 (153,000; up 46%), Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow" falls 2-5 (153,000; down 23%) and Cee Lo Green's "F**k You (Forget You)" jumps 12-6 following its Grammy Awards performance (148,000; up 55%). Rihanna's "S&M" whips up the tally 20-7 (145,000; up a whopping 93%) while Mars' "Grenade" slides 5-8 (143,000; up 1%). Two more debuts populate the top 10 on Digital Songs this week: Jay Sean's "Hit the Lights" (featuring Lil Wayne) opens at No. 9 (135,000) and Colbie Caillat's "I Do" bows at No. 10 (130,000). Digital track sales this past week totaled 26.8 million downloads, up 9% compared to last week (24.6 million) and up 6% stacked next to the comparable week of 2010 (25.2 million). Year to date track sales are at 159.7 million, up 4% compared to the same total at this point last year (153.3 million).

www.billboard.com/#/news/glee-cast-tops-elvis-presley-for-most-hot-1005036732.story'Glee' Cast Tops Elvis Presley for Most Hot 100 Hits DDespite having first graced the Billboard Hot 100 song chart as recently as June 2009, the cast of the smash Fox TV series "Glee" rewrites the record for most charted songs by an act in the list's 52-year archives. The act passes music royalty on its way to chart history. With six debuts on the Hot 100 to be released tomorrow (Feb. 17) on Billboard.com, the "Glee" cast has placed 113 songs on the chart, besting Elvis Presley's 108 chart entries logged between the survey's inception in 1958 and 2003. (The King of Rock and Roll's career predates the Hot 100's launch; Presley scaled numerous Hot 100 predecessor song charts beginning in 1956). The "Glee" cast's record-shattering week contributes to an historic Hot 100. As previously reported, Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" blasts in at No. 1 to become the survey's 1,000th leading title. Following the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning series' premiere May 19, 2009, the "Glee" ensemble arrived on the Hot 100 with its highest-charted title to-date (No. 4), a cover of Journey's 1981 rock classic "Don't Stop Believin'," the week of June 6, 2009. The act has been able to fast-track its way to Hot 100 history thanks to 20th Century Fox and Columbia Records having released multiple songs digitally following each new "Glee" episode. A remake of Katy Perry's recent Hot 100 No. 1 "Firework" represents the "Glee" cast's highest debuting title this week (No. 34). The song premiered on the Feb. 8 episode, "Silly Love Longs."

I have to say I'm very surprised that the rest of the top ten digital singles didn't have higher sales.
I'm wondering if this next week will feel more of the Grammy effect.

Running down the Hot 100's top 10 below Lady Gaga's landmark launch at No. 1, Perry's original version of "Firework" rebounds 3-2. The song's "Glee" exposure prompts a 40% uptick in digital sales to 170,000. Bruno Mars' "Grenade" slides 2-3 and Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow" drops 1-4. The latter song and Pittsburgh anthem rose 4-1 last week following the Steelers playoff run to the Super Bowl. P!nk's "F**kin' Perfect" dips 4-5 on the Hot 100, although it claims Airplay Gainer honors, jumping 16-12 on Radio Songs (68 million in audience, up 22%), and Enrique Iglesias' "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)," featuring Ludacris and DJ Frank E, holds at No. 6. Following his Gwyneth Paltrow- and puppet-assisted performance at the 53rd Grammy Awards Sunday (Feb. 13), Cee Lo Green's "F**k You (Forget You)" rockets 16-7, besting its previous peak of No. 9 in December. The song gains on both Digital Songs, where it bounds 12-6 (148,000, up 55%), and Radio Songs, where it rises 23-19 (51 million, up 15%). Rihanna's "S&M" vaults into the Hot 100's top 10 (33-8) as the chart's Digital Gainer for a second consecutive week, rocketing 20-7 on Digital Songs (145,000, up 93%). The song concurrently charges 57-37 on Radio Songs (30 million, up 33%). Following the Black Eyed Peas' Super Bowl halftime performance that featured the song, the group's "The Time (Dirty Bit)" rebounds 19-9, fueled by an 11-4 reversal on Digital Songs (153,000, up 46%). Spears' "Hold It Against Me" rounds out the Hot 100's top 10 (10-10). In addition to Lady Gaga's No. 1 blastoff and the "Glee" cast's six debuts, other notable new entries belong to Jay Sean, whose "Hit the Lights," featuring Lil Wayne, begins at No. 18; Colbie Caillat, whose "I Do" opens at No. 23; and, Wiz Khalifa, whose "Roll Up," the follow-up to "Black and Yellow," starts at No. 48. www.billboard.com/#/news/lady-gaga-glee-highlight-historic-hot-100-1005039282.story

Rihanna's top ten presence goes uninterrupted (how many weeks now? Is it since LTWYL debuted?) and Brit barely hangs on in the top ten. If her video surges sales she will likely rebound a bit next week. Gaga is a lock for another week at #1.

How is it an honor to be the 1,000 #1? Seems like a coincidence. It's more of an honor being #1 than it is to be the 1,000 #1. It seems like Gaga thinks everything is the biggest honor ever though. lol.

11. LADY GAGA - Born This Way: 74.091 (+ 10.587) ▲ [/b][/quote] On Radio Songs, the Hot 100's airplay component chart, "Born This Way" begins at No. 6 with a first-week audience of 78.5 million. From 11 to 6, quite a difference from Mediabase to BDS.
