Mark this one under "only in Canada". It's been our charts for a while, but it has a remarkable 80s quality to it. Heck, even the lead singer looks like David Bowie.
Don't get mad, get glad. If Devin can post a topic for The Trews I can post one for this too. Thoughts?

I love this. The chorus is so subtley catchy. One of my favourite songs of last year.

I only made mine because the Trews have pushed songs here before, and it was a new lead single. But yeah, it doesn't matter. Me and Pipa should promote Canadian artists like this.
Question: Do you consider The Trews more fit for alternative or active rock? I'm caught in the crossfire, I would say it would be like Jet; kinda back and forth between both formats.

^ Definitely Active. They have more of a classic sound, whereas Jet have the odd Oasis-leaning single. I think Jet would do better on Active now, anyway.

I think Active, but it's weird, because there's a band that's similar to them called The Dudes that only Alt will play. So I don't really know.

I feel as if, for example if The Trews career was like so:
"Every Inambition" - #37 Active "Not Ready to Go" - #1 Alt, #3 Active "Tired of Waiting" - #8 Active, #11 Alt. "Fleeting Trust" - #19 Active, #25 Alt. "She's So Leaving" - #4 Active, #6 Alt. "Yearning" - #9 Active, #18 Alt. "Poor 'Ol Broken Hearted Me" - #10 Active, #12 Alt. "I Can't Stay" - #34 Active, #37 Alt. "Hold Me In Your Arms" - #3 Active, #10 Alt. "Paranoid Freak" (def. more alt leaning) - #11 Active, #8 Alt. "Man of Two Minds" - #38 Active, #33 Alt. "(I) Can't Stop Laughing" - #19 Active, #40 Alt. "Highway of Heroes" - N/A "Hope & Ruin" - #8 Alt, #11 Active
In conclusion... yeah, more active leaning.
