Oh my God apparently that remix is official?  Apparently DJ Kue's mix of this is official as well. There's also an Olli Collins Club Mix floating around that clocks in at 6:03 that's apparently official. I have to ask: where are all the Britney staples? These new guys aren't cutting it. |

The Olli Collins Club Mix started off good, love what they did with the melody, but got kind of just... noisy. Especially the electro break. There are right and wrong ways to do those, and it seems people like to do them pretty poorly lately.

The vocals just drift in places and the effects on it are pretty cheap. I really wish he'd go back and clean it up a little bit; it just makes it sound so sloppy. |

Alex Suarez and Kik Klap are my favorites. Love the crazy part in Alex, and Kik Klap is a bit more accessible BPM and I love the vocal structure of the intro. Karmatronic and even Friscia & Lamboy are great too. And none of them are completely terrible, which is unusual for USA Jive remix packages!
(I still shudder at "No Air")

More like an Audé knockoff to me, but it's not a bad mix.
Anyway, none of these mixes are bad (a much better pacakge than we saw 'Hold It Against Me' receive) but uh.. nothing really spectacular to see here. I will say every remix has their moment, but honestly, they're all just moments. I'm waiting for the Blackout-esque packages.

This is a sizable yet mostly very mediocre remix package. The list of mixers seems pretty random - I can't remember the last Friscia & Lamboy or Karmatronic mix I liked, and I've never heard of most of the rest here. The Street Savi Ghettohouse mixes are probably my favorite of this package, but honestly it's hard to pick a standout. Gareth Wyn's mix is still the most interesting and original I've heard so far. |
