Amidst the madness that's become my work schedule, I found time to work with Johnny Labs on this new mix. It's pretty different for me as I took it in a darker direction. Once I had this new sound I thought Johnny would be perfect to compliment it. I hope you like the result.

i hope rauhofer leaks his mix soon. i have liked his past britney mixes When was the last he did, 'Gimme More'? Honestly, the best he's done was 'Toxic' for me, but his mixes in general lately have been on point lately. Really hope we see one soon.

I read somewhere else that he was getting Epiphony (aka Itay Kalderon and singer Meital De Razon) to record new vocals for the remix.

was just coming in here to drop those, gracias. They're both kind of just meh for me, but I kind of preferred the Kinki mix to the other, but only slightly. The vocal work on the Lovers mix just bothers me. They're both a little messy though, but solid I suppose.

The best mix of this song has finally come out! The Joel D!ckinson & Billy Waters is simply wonderful.
I enjoy the energetic, frenzied nature of the production. A number of the other mixes relied on these white noise-sounding electro sections. And some of them would lose the energy of the original leaving me we with an "is that it?" feeling. ???

Makes me think of a soundtrack to a mouse trying to get through a maze with the camera locked in at front angle, yet no matter what he can't find that cheeeze (that's playing out loud).

Other than the fact that you hated the remix, I'm not entirely sure what this is supposed to mean. However, you should know that - as a diehard fan of Nicki Minaj and Cajjmere Wray - you're not really our intended audience, stylistically speaking. Thanks to the others that enjoyed the mix and even Kpasa for keeping the criticism somewhat constructive. Cheers!

even Kpasa for keeping the criticism somewhat constructive. Cheers! I... didn't know you posted here or I would've done you the courtesy of at least providing something constructive other than a negative opinion. My b. Okay! To go more in-depth, as Bobo pointed out the "get you off with the remix" bit was pretty clever, but the intro felt very muddled because of the amount of vocals you had going on. I couldn't.. focus. The mix also felt too loud? I get that could've been the goal but it wasn't executed well. For example: the chords you had going during the pre-chorus/chorus were really creative - I'll go so far as to say I loved them, actually - but you fell short in that they get lost behind the rest of the instruments. It was almost like different bits of the mix were fighting for attention and there wasn't anything to really zero in on. The whole thing just feels a bit too big, if that makes sense. It's possible that it's just a style of mixing that I'm not big on, and all that said, the mix wasn't a complete disaster. I just think it could use a little cleaning up.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not that sensitive about my productions or naive to think that everyone will love it. Individual musical taste is a highly personal and fickle creature, so you win some and you lose some. This is not something I lose sleep over. I'm ecstatic that there were plenty of people that enjoyed the "bigness" that we tried to achieve with this remix, but I'm also well aware that it's not for everyone. Each successive production is another learning experience for me. That said, I'm proud of this one, and we have plenty more productions in the pipeline. Keep on dancin'!

I do like Britney Spears, there's just SOOOOO many bootleg mixes of her stuff flooding everywhere (as with any big artist currently).

I think your mix could use "bigger" drums and a sharper bassline, if that makes any sense. I like the chords you use during the hook... also you might want to lock the vocal in a bit tighter.

Thanks Bert, I agree that I could've done something more with the bass. I feel that's one of my weaker points. I didn't want the drums to overpower the mix so that's why I just added the clap and some hats in the middle.
