I loved the thunderpuss mixes of "share my joy!" she had a very distinct voice. maybe there will be some good new mixes of her older stuff or even some unreleased stuff come out now!

I had been a fan of hers since the early 90's when I heard her vocals on Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch's "Good Vibrations." When I went through a long disco phase in the mid 90's, I discovered her work on the Salsoul label and fell in love. She had an undeniable fire and passion in her vocals, even on some of her more subdued recordings.
I loved a number of her remixes. The Satoshi Tomiie mixes of "Dreamin", the Thunderpuss mixes of "Share My Joy", Junior's mixes of "What Goes Around Comes Around", and of course the Freemasons mix of "Love Sensation." I loved Satoshi's reworking of "Dreamin" as all the main elements of the disco era original were kept and made to shine further. The additional production was just right. This is one of the perfect examples of how an update to a disco classic should be done. Those Thunderpuss mixes of "Share My Joy" were totally something else. Especially that dub. Between the two main Junior mixes of "What Goes Around Comes Around", I have a hard time choosing. The Sensation mix was such a lush disco-house gem with the right amount of tribal beats. The harder, darker Underworld mix was awesome as well with all those insane vocal loops and buildups.

RIP to a true diva. She had an undeniable fire and passion in her vocals, even on some of her more subdued recordings. What do you regard as some of her more "subdued" recordings DDFOS? Do tell...

One of the powerful female voices in dance music history. Not too many can compare! Miss quality dance music like the late 80's and early 90's.
