wow, Katy is EASILY #1 this week, and my predictions were pretty close. I thought 275k, she sold 254k, so the removal of the remix did nothing. It certainly didn't "open the door up for Rihanna" like some were saying. She's slaughtering her. Next week even more. 2nd week at #1 is most certainly a lock. Congrats Katy for securing a 4th #1 in a row. UGH!

Lady Gaga’s smash single “Born This Way” this week tops the two-million sales mark in the United States, becoming Gaga’s eighth consecutive 2-million-seller. To date, the track has sold 1,978,000 digital copies and 37,000 CD singles.
Who was the last artist to consecutively sell 8 2-million-selling digital singles?

"On the Floor" has picked up airplay following the sales performance- but, I'd be very surprised if it got near the top 10 in airplay. Top 20? perhaps, if similar gains persist. I imagine Lopez will perform something on Idol the week of the album release- will she mime like Paula Abdul did, or will she actually attempt singing live? I don't think it'll help 'On The Floor' since she'll most likely do her second single 'I'm Into You'. I really like 'E.T.', so good to hear that it's #1. It should stay there next week too, as the digital sales look to be going up and the airplay is getting stronger each day.

Congrats to Katy. I like ET.
What I don't like is that this will probably spend more weeks @ #1 than TD..... It would be unfortunate that her best single, TD becomes her least successful one :(

I can see Katy holding #1 for another couple weeks at least with the video out tomorrow. Then maybe Rihanna will take over for a week or two

One of the best #1s in awhile, although I'd prefer it without Kanye. Why does every pop song these days have to have a rap verse in it? Nevermind, I know. ;)

Didn't Katy have the 1000th #1 of the rock era? So close to claiming the 1000th #1 on the Hot 100 too!

Consecutive is kind of iffy to say too because a lot of songs are available digitally for months or even over a year before they're officially singles, and a decent album cut could sell a lot in that time period. And then there's the whole matter of "buzz" singles. If a "buzz" single doesn't sell 2 million do we just pretend it didn't happen?

People are entitled to their opinion of whether or not they like "E.T." but a song that sells very well and performs at radio DESERVES to be number one. Congrats on four number ones from an album and maybe a fifth (especially if the re-release comes to fruition).

Is "On The Floor" Jennifer Lopez's best digital seller as the lead performer?

Stuck like Glue will eventually hit 2 Million Mark! Pretty good considering it was never a big pop hit! :)

Instead of putting S&M on sale I say IDJ should quickly remix S&M, release that version to Itunes and debut that version of the song live the same week. She'd take over Katy for one week for sure.

Congrats on four number ones from an album and maybe a fifth (especially if the re-release comes to fruition). A song only deserves to be #1 if it has the most points on the chart that week. That's the only criteria that counts.
