I haven't very much about any of that, to be honest. By this time for the past two years, I was seeing commercials and ads everywhere for it! Well true...the only VMA spot I've seen on TV is Lil Wayne's.  I figure when they announce Gaga is hosting, there will be a huge spike in interest though. They already have the Brit stans appeased to tune in. They really need to make more promo spots. I still remember watching that amazing promo video for 2009's on DirecTV's Active over and over and over again.  "Tonight, tonight, the VMAs tonight!" |

I dont understand why they dont have it in New York City every year. It seems like the quality dips when they leave new york for the show. I know there's still a lot of talk about her possibly being the host, too. Who knows. She really needs to get up there and promote the hell out of Y&I. |

Singer will also make VMA announcement during live 'MTV First' special on Thursday at 7:49pm ET.

I hope there's a host this year. I remember one year, I think it was 2007, there wasn't a host and it was quite disastrous. I love when Chris Rock hosted in the 90's, bring him back. Also, ADELE DOING A MEDLEY? OMG THAT WILL BE AMAZING. |
