Can't find a thread. Saw the video earlier on VH1 Soul and was reminded how much I like this song. It was released in 2003 as the lead single from the Love & Life album.

Love this one. The album wasn't even all that bad imo.

I think it is pretty hot. Don't know why it flopped tbh.

This was OK, but I preferred their other collabo, "I'll Be There For You/You're All I Need To Get By".

I loved it. Their other collabo is better.

The whole album era for me can be summed up in the last five words uttered by Mary at the end of Friends..... "Give me another track immediately....." since going back to Puff proved to be a big mistake. All the tracks he came up with were subpar. At least she turned things back around with Be Without You...

I loved this song when it was out, but I don't listen to it too much nowadays. Still like it though.

Jam. I didn't really like the Love & Life album though.

I don't dislike it, but I thought it was extremely underwhelming.

I like the Hot Sex sample more than anything else about this.

At the time, I thought it was just okay and a complete WTF moment as a single. There were so many better choices on that album.
I love it way more now than I did back then. And I think that entire album in general is underrated. It's easily her strongest album of the 00's for me.

I don't dislike it, but I thought it was extremely underwhelming. Agreed. Her singles this era were definitely weak, average, and underwhelming.

Jam. I didn't really like the Love & Life album though. Yeah, all her albums that came before it were so infinitely better, including the singles.

I actually liked this song and the usage of the sample but I agree that the album was kinda trash. "It's A Wrap" wasn't bad but it wasn't memorable either. That's the only two I would kinda use from that album.
