Ouch at Brit....Hopefully the S&M remix will give her some extra promo...and at least Til the World Ends is doing really well with alot more room to grow.
Amazing for Adele, and nice to see Katy-Pink-Rihanna all in a row :)

Spears' album's drop is in line with second-week trends in recent times (with a couple of exceptions, of course). As far as promo, for some, a single at radio and a video is as good as the promo gets. There certainly has not been a lack of awareness for Spears' album.

Good sales for Katy! The song and video have definitely impacted the album's sales.

Wow Mumford & Sons keeps going! I wonder if it'll see double platinum by the end of the year?

I've said this in another thread...Mandisa has become one of the most successful females to come from Idol. And her latest single "Stronger" is in the Top 5 on the Christian Charts, most likely going to hit #1. Her first 2 (Grammy nominated) albums were better, but her new album is great. I know she's not everyone's cup of tea, but she sings with fantastic power and the material is solid. Love her performances of I'm Every Woman and I Don't Hurt Anymore from Idol.

I hope Jennifer Hudson can stabalize. Unless she has a big second single, I don't see the album having a lot of longevity :/

Jennifer will struggle to sell 500k although I do feel she will eventually get a gold cert. It will be interesing to see if her switching it up and performing an 'older' type song on DWTS who has an older viewership demo will affect her #s next week.
Britney Yes, her decline is in line with most big name 2nd week drops but still, outside of some hits, I don't see this cd doing better than 'Circus' did in the US. Of course, that could change but as of now, I don't se e it.
Chris #s seem to be holding up well.
Kirk Franklin's cd is doing amazingly well.

He also has a hit of a decent size. I believe 'I Smile' is his fourth song to reach Hot 100

I love how Mandisa basicly is selling the same as last era. She has deffiantly found her little niche in Gospel. Probably will never be a crossover, but i dont think it matters. lol
