If you thought Good Girl was just a fraction of the song that Happiness was, then this song continues that trend. It's about 1/4 the song that Good Girl was. I'm sorry, but like the recent Kristine W single, I'm just not feeling this. Kristine W has greatness in her, so I am taking "Fade" as a misstep.
However, Alexis Jordan is an unproven artist, and anyone who's listened to her album can pretty much attest that it's got 2 great singles, and the rest just mediocre filler.
Hush Hush has a very unmemorable hook, and the remixers can only do SO much with it. Cahill, predictable but always solid, can't make much from this song. The Lounge mixes are slightly better than the Full On mixes (for me).
Tom Neville strips it back a bit and goes housier, but it doesn't rise above the kind of song where you'd find yourself going to get a drink.
I see why they're giving Alexis a 3rd single (after two solid #1's) but this song is utterly forgettable...

Kristine already had a horrible misstep with the garbage that was "I'll Be Your Light". I feel like there's nowhere to go but down from here, and I'm feeling the same way with Alexis.
