I'm a big fan of the song titles this time around. "Two Black Cadillacs," "Diamonds," "Heartbreak Boots," etc. All very intriguing.

Is "Something Like This" a sequel to "Songs Like This"?  But yeah, these titles seem very interesting. I just hope "Oklahoma Wind" makes the album! |

Paisley co-wrote the song with Chris DuBois and Kelley Lovelace. The track comes from Paisley's latest album, This Is Country Music, which was certified gold in June for shipments of 500,000 copies. Paisley will launch his European tour on Aug. 17 in London, while Underwood's next concert will be Aug. 12 in Ottawa, Ontario. Those riots are awful. ^^Maybe Carrie can do a surprise appearance in one of Brad's European dates and sing the duet. Talk about a wow moment. As awesome as that would be, I doubt she'd do that. With Carrie not even blogging for a solid month because she's been so darn busy, it sounds like they're starting to go into the later stages of producing the album. We're already a week and a half into August, and with the past albums, we've had the album title and album artwork release during the last week of August. I wouldn't be surprised if the title and artwork come out as early as then or the first week of September, with a lead single closely following. |

The part that really got me was when HGTA was playing and they played the clip of her winning her very first FVOTY from the CMAs. :'( :'( :'(

I just watched that video and now am crying like a baby. I don't know how it's possible to care so much for a person I've never met before, but I do. Watching that video just reminded me of why I love Carrie so much. Carrie may have a beautiful appearance and voice, but the thing that is the most beautiful about her is the person she is.
I really hope the CMAs show her some more appreciation this year. EOTY and FVOTY trophies would be very nice.

I feel weird for caring about her and genuinely being so happy when she excels and so mad when she doesn't get enough credit for it, but I do. I did tear up toward the end. I'm not expecting much from the CMAs this year, but I would be very happy and welcome any and all awards. |

Is this coming out in 2011 by any chance? We're hoping, but she's still apparently working in the studio, so chances of a late 2011 release are looking slimmer and slimmer by the day. I'm still hoping for a Black Friday release, though! |

I think it'll be out this year, probably late November. They still have the rest of this month left and even if they go into September, it still gives them a while to put the album out.

Carrie was still in the studio mid-August 2009 recording Play On, so I don't see why chances are looking slimmer for this new album to be released this year. From the sounds of her last blog, it seems they're a bit further in the album process than we'd all realized before. I'm still thinking mid-late November for a release, with a lead single release in late September (after or right around the time RM starts dropping from #1). Australia's Country Music Channel posted on their facebook tonight that they're announcing a big tour tomorrow. Carrie's name was thrown in with the guesses on who it might be, and the channel replied that it would be one of the above guesses but they can't name names yet. No definites, but it would certainly make sense. Keep an eye out for that one. |

I'm about 87% confident that this will come out in 2011. I'm predicting a November 22 release...but anytime in late November or early December is possible.
And I'm also predicting that, after RM spends 3+ weeks at #1 in late August/early September, we'll get the lead single...my prediction is that she'll debut it at the iHeart Radio thing on September 23...that's 8-9 weeks before my guess of when the album will come out, and for a Carrie lead single, that's plenty of time...it would be in the top 10 or top 5 at least by the album release. Most superstars usually release an album within 8-12 weeks after the first single comes out, so I still think we're plenty good.

IdolsNow is reporting that "Remind Me" came in at #18 on the Hot 100. That makes for Carrie's ninth top 20 hit on said chart. Does the outfit look like the one Carrie wear on the idol finale when she sang Before He Cheats with Lauren? It's the same top, yes. Is this coming out in 2011 by any chance? Very likely. I wasn't so sure at first but Carrie's latest blog restored my confidence.
