On Allaccess.com, a remix of "Remind Me" was sent to HAC. It's listed as "Remind Me (f/ Carrie Underwood) (Ella's Remix)"

I'm surprised they're sending out a pop mix of it. The song doesn't sound too much different, so I like it. I hope this becomes the next big crossover hit for Carrie and the first for Brad!

Wow, I'm surprised they remixed it. Does this mean they're planning to send it to pop if it does well on HAC?

Ugh, don't like the remix. I'll never understand why the other formats won't just play the original. But whatever.

I'd have never thought that, out of all her singles, ''Remind Me'' would be the one to get a pop mix. I think it's smart, though. Might help both of them at a time to crossover a bit.

Remixes rarely sound...decent. This isn't much of an exception, but, I get why they did it so whatever. I hope it does well on HAC.

I guess that might answer my own question earlier... that Brad doesn't mind pop remixes.
Hope this does something for both of them on HAC.

I notice something in Carrie's & Brad's RM performance from last night. I don't know of you guys notice it or not, but at the 2 minutes and 11 seconds you can see Brad smile when Carrie was singing.. :)

Loved this: I seriously don't get those re-mixes. So unnecessary. I'm glad Carrie puts her foot down when it comes to that shit.

The book moment was my favorite part of the entire show. Little Jimmy Dickens forgetting his lines and "Forever and Ever Amen" were my favorites... They all were, they were truly hilarious! They should host SNL together... that would make for some funny TV!

I'm with Typo on remixes. They never turn out very good. Most of them sound like they were made in less than a half an hour.

The book moment was my favorite part of the entire show. Then you'll be happy to know that was Carrie's idea ;) @wildaboutmusic David Wild ETA: People has a slideshow with details of Carrie's dresses.

Have ratings came in from last night? Yep. CMAs easily swept the night. They averaged 16.32 million viewers for the night, with the highest viewer count within the 8pm-9pm hour at 16.79 million.

Those are killer ratings. As long as they post numbers like these, they'll host for many years to come. Also, I love Kelly's comment "Big ole Voice"! I've said it before but I'd kill for a duet with them. Maybe Carrie's upcoming album? It seems things are set in stone but just like with Brad's album, things can change very fast.

I don't understand the point of that radio mix. It still sounds just as country, just with a different arrangement. And yes plz to Carrie & Kelly. Crossroads maybe?

I wouldn't mind Carrie and Kelly doing a one-time duet, live or studio, but I'd rather Carrie do Crossroads with someone not affiliated with Idol.

I wouldn't mind Carrie and Kelly doing a one-time duet, live or studio, but I'd rather Carrie do Crossroads with someone not affiliated with Idol. Kelly's already done Crossroads with Reba, so I doubt either Carrie or Kelly would be up for that pairing. But at least a one-time duet seems like it should happen eventually. If they ever did an actual studio duet, the buzz would be huge. Though I'm still not convinced their voices would go together well at all, I'd be curious to hear the results.
