Taste Of Country (4 out of 5 stars) The album is built like Dolly Parton: a little top-heavy, with everything past the halfway point struggling to stand out from what we’ve seen from other albums. It’s worth the $10-14 you’ll spend at Walmart or at digital retailers when it’s released today because there are some truly precious moments, including a daring duet with Carrie Underwood that promises to be his next single.
The duet, ‘Remind Me,’ is for anyone who’s ever yearned for the goosebumps their spouse gave them in the early days of courtship. “We didn’t care if people stared / We’d make out in a crowd somewhere / Somebody would tell us to get a room / It’s hard to believe that was me and you,” Paisley sings before Underwood begs,“Remind me / Remind me.” The song is a risk for Paisley, because his voice struggles to stand up next to Underwood’s. But whose wouldn’t? USA TODAY (4 out of 4 stars) Download: This Is Country Music, Old Alabama (with Alabama), One of Those Lives, Remind Me (with Carrie Underwood)

The Washington Post (positive) Of course, no one does it’s-the-little-things-in-life love songs better than Paisley. Carrie Underwood lights up the ballad “Remind Me,” in which a couple reminisces about the good old days when they had torrid make-out sessions in public.
Recommended tracks: Old Alabama, Remind Me The Washington Times (basically positive) There are some jewels here - “Remind Me,” a duet with Carrie Underwood, is a gorgeous ballad about love on the rocks - but there’s also a good deal of cliche, which cheapens the imagination Mr. Paisley puts into his guitar playing.

Carrie will be picking a song for Lauren Alaina for the American Idol finale. She's gotta be stoked! Lauren's always said that Carrie's her inspiration.

Carrie Underwood, George Strait picking finale songs for IdolsLauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery will sing three songs on the final American Idol competition show Tuesday (8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central, FOX) – one of them chosen by their own personal musical idols. Idol's fourth-season winner, Carrie Underwood, has chosen a song for Lauren, and Country Music Hall of Famer George Strait has picked one for Scotty.
In addition, both teens will sing their favorite song from the season. They'll also perform their debut single, chosen for them by the Idol producers.

On UK iTunes where RM is individually sold:
"Remind Me" is the top track from the album at #40 on the country songs chart, ahead of any Brad Paisley tune. The only other Brad songs charting are "Whiskey Lullaby" at #112 and "Old Alabama" at #139.

Carrie posted on the FC that she picked a song that she wanted to sing on Idol but couldn't. I remember her saying she was going to do "Cum on Feel the Noise" by Quiet Riot. Maybe it's that one!! lmao

Definitely looking forward to seeing Carrie's choice for Lauren, and hopefully they show a snippet of Carrie speaking about why she chose the song for Lauren, and maybe even some mentoring?

'Like My Mother Does' is Lauren's lead single from her upcoming album...it's not Carrie's choice.

I think that if Carrie were to perform with Brad in the finale, we would've heard something about it by now... and also, don't think they'll have her singing something too country, considering the finale will be all too country...

They are probably holding "RM" for when it's a single. That way sales explode with airplay and it gets a higher peak. Not a big deal, folks.

It seems very rare that Carrie's team does these sales for her on iTunes, and considering she'll be on idol this week, it must be something big to merit this sale!

Carrie posted on the fan club. The Hollywood Reporter rumor about the group medley is completely false. :(
