^Wow! That's awesome! Shane is the co-writer of Lee Ann Womack's "Last Call" as well as Kenny Chesney's monster hit "Somewhere With You"!! :)
It'd be nice if one or both of those songs made the album!

So she's starting to record now?!?! Great news! I am so ready for some new Carrie music. I hope this shapes up to be the album of her career. All her talk lately is getting me really excited and it seems she's going in a direction that I'm really going to like. Plus, I love all the Adele mentions. :)

That's a good sign, those are two amazing songs. And 2 new co-writes over at Songfile: - "Do You Remember When" - Written by Carrie, Hillary Lindsey, Mike Elizondo - "Heartbreak Boots" - Written by Carrie, Marti Frederikson, Kara DioGuardi, Luke Laird

I enjoy it when the new titles for songs start coming in. "Set it on Fire" tour sounds good to me.

Carrie Underwood speaks, sings with ACM Lifting Lives Music CampCarrie Underwood stopped by Starstruck Studios Wednesday morning to talk with the ACM Lifting Lives Music Campers, but she wound up doing more singing than talking. And so, she sang, with accompaniment from the enthusiastic campers, all in town for a week-long residential camp that allows Vanderbilt Kennedy Center researchers to study developmental disabilities and provides a week’s worth of musical enrichment for the participants. They all sang Underwood hits “Jesus, Take The Wheel” and “Undo It,” as well as Bill Withers’ “Lean On Me.”
“I sing because I love to sing, and that’s what they love to do, too,” Underwood said. “They just made my day, my week and my month.”
The campers told Underwood about their week in Nashville: They’ve already sung karaoke with Wynonna Judd, visited with Little Big Town, written a song called “In Harmony” with Brett James, Gary Allan and Odie Blackmon, and recorded that song at Starstruck with producer Mark Bright. Friday, they’ll perform on the Grand Ole Opry with Darius Rucker.
“They encourage each other so much, and they seem to have no fear,” James said. “They’ll say whatever they’re really thinking, and that makes them the ultimate co-writers.”
Underwood said the campers’ performance with Rucker was the highlight of the 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards show in April.
“I was front row, center, the best seat in the house for watching them,” she said. “At awards shows, everybody’s worried about promoting their new single or trying to sell albums, but they were doing it because they love it. It was an emotional, happy, love-filled moment. I went back and watched it again after the show was over, because I wanted to be back in that moment.”

I have to say, I love the song titles this time around much more than last time. I am ecstatic that she's working with McAnally - I'm a big fan of his work. With that said, I know we all hate on Kara but I feel like "Heartbreakk Boots" has the potential to be big just based on the uniqueness of the name. I would love to hear that one. I hope the following (based on title alone, obviously) make the cut:
Heartbreak Boots Distant Lullaby Trainwreck Do You Remember When? Set It On Fire ---------------- Loved By You Girls Like Us
The last two more because of the collaborators. Haha. I NEED THIS ALBUM!

Some additional pics of Carrie with the ACM Lifting Lives campers can be found here. I'm loving these song titles, as well. I know there's only so much you can get from a title but they all sound rather country to me, which is exactly what I want. And, I'm very pleased to see McAnally in-the-mix. However, I'm not ready to start picking & choosing titles. Carrie co-wrote around 50 songs for Play On, so I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with around 80-100 registered co-writes for this album. We've only got 13 titles at the moment. According to IdolsNow "Remind Me" moved up to #28 on this weeks H100 chart.

I don't get this part of their ranking at all. Where did they get 1 AMA win? 2 BMA wins? 4 PCA wins? 5 ACMs? 0 CMAs? 2 Grammy wins? 3 Grammy nominations? ...she has 6 AMAs, 15, BMAs, 6 PCAs, 11 ACMs (including the GNO award), 5 CMAs, 5 Grammys, 2 un-won nominations... etc. I'm confused so much.... ??? If they actually used the right data, Carrie would be in the Top 3 on the list, ahead of Taylor, Gaga, Rihanna, etc.

According to IdolsNow "Remind Me" moved up to #28 on this weeks H100 chart. Awesome! I think Remind Me could be Brad's highest hot 100 peak yet. It's just starting and it's already among his best peaks!

This should easily make top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart as airplay peaks because it has been in the high teens digitally for the past 2 weeks or so with nearly ZERO promotion other than it's stay at country radio. This feat is clearly thanks to Carrie Underwood's name on the track, which I am sure Brad is quite thankful for !

I like that title. "Heartbreak Boots" has been registered over at BMI, too. I'm thinking that those two might be the only DioGuardi/Frederiksen/Laird co-writes this era. I mean if there were others wouldn't they have been registered alongside these two? That's my thought process at least. There's been some speculation amongst the fans that "Do You Remember When" may be Carrie's own response song to "Remind Me" & maybe "Girls Like Us" was written as a collaboration. Carrie's all about empowering women within the country genre, so I could definitely see her getting Miranda, Lauren, etc. to sing along on a chorus or something. Thanks for all the info Typo! Seriously what would this thread be without you? KING OF THE CARRIE FANS TYRELL POPO :'( :'( Yr welcome & thanks~ Awesome! I think Remind Me could be Brad's highest hot 100 peak yet. It's just starting and it's already among his best peaks! Brad's highest Hot 100 peak is "He Didn't Have To Be" at #25, I'm sure "Remind Me" will surpass that.

I wonder if this is the "Set It On Fire" demo? "Della Rose" was an up and coming country group consisting of 3 girls, one of them being Alaina Whitaker, who was on the 7th season of American Idol, but only made the Top 20. She was compared to Carrie a lot. The group is no longer together though.

It's not. That was uploaded to Della Rose's Myspace page way back in January 2009, Carrie co-wrote her "Set It On Fire" earlier this year.
