The number of songs registered is what impresses me. Carrieoke music publishing is starting to look like a winner. I don't know how many of these songs will be picked up by other artists or recorded by Carrie herself, but I can see $$$ for a long time to come for Carrie. How does that publishing company work? Is it only Carrie-written songs or what? |

Are the four Billboard Hot 100 top 10s: 'Inside Your Heaven', 'Before He Cheats', 'I'll Stand By You', and 'I Told You So' ? Where did 'Remind Me' peak ?

Carrie blogged this morning. She's up early to head to some CMA meetings. She's figured out all of her dresses for the big show, and says they are "dramatic".
Also, album news - she's been in the studio recording for the last few days, and only has a few finishing touches to do before the album is complete! Sounds like the album is very upbeat in terms of tempo.

If the album is almost finished, the lead single has to come out in January, I'd say. Which hopefully means the album is released no later than March.  |

I'd say earlier than that.... then again, it might be risky to release a single during Christmas season. I think January will be the latest. It seems as if the songs are all chosen and recorded. By the sound of it, the production part is really all that's left as she said she has been recording a lot lately. I'm so excited! I truly cannot wait!!! |

I'm glad this one is looking to be prominently up-tempo, there were a few killer ballads on Play On but I think they all got a little blurred together due to the abundance of ballads housed on that album. A more upbeat album should allow for those killer ballads to really shine. What about a release on or near Valentine's Day? A Valentines Day release would've been perfect had the lead single been debuted at the CMAs. But, that's not happening. So...I'll join along with the majority and say a single release in January & an album to follow sometime in March makes the most sense at this point. |

Just a guess, but since Brad's got his guitar and Carrie's got (I'm assuming) a script in her hands, it looks like the song parodies will be making an appearance again this year. That's always one of the best parts of the opening monologue.

I love what Carrie's done with her hair for this upcoming era. I liked the bangs at IHR, but in that picture, she kept the bangs but had them flow into the rest of her hair, which looks really, really stunning to me. She looks fantastic! :) Just a guess, but since Brad's got his guitar and Carrie's got (I'm assuming) a script in her hands, it looks like the song parodies will be making an appearance again this year. The way Brad & Carrie are performing the song is exactly what I wanted the video to be like. A single microphone with the two of them on each side singing to each other. Granted, I wanted a few more details in the video, obviously, for selfish reasoning, but this performance is what I always imagined the performance to be like!  I can't contain my excitement right now. CarrieCountry Music Award street week is always one of my favorite times of the year because of all of the press [and new GIFs] the public gets! :) |

Hahaha. They just had Before he Cheats on Family Guy. I just turned it on and I heard it. It was playing in the radio of Brian's car and then Stewie said he liked the song and he didn't have to defend Carrie Underwood she is doing well enough on her own! Haha. Then he stayed in the car and sung along to it!

I hope OW makes the album. That would be a great album title, too, since she stated back at the Billboard Summit that this album will be a lot more 'folksier.' :) I'm sure she's heard all of the fans' desperation of wanting the song to be professionally recorded and put on an album, so maybe she rolled with it...? One can only hope! We'll have to wait and see until the track listing comes out! And I'm personally excited for more up-tempos. Play On is great, but it was ballad-heavy. There will obviously be ballads on this next album, I'm sure (it's Carrie; there will always be a couple power ballads and a couple tame ballads), but I'm excited to hear Carrie do a tempo-heavy album! |

I'm a ballad person, so even if it's a good change with a tempo-heavy album, I still want gems like LAM, SWISLY, WOTW, ITYS etc on the album! If OW makes the album, I'd be THRILLED! |
