'Last Friday Night' is going to definitely speed up in its decline very soon. 'Last Friday Night' has spent four weeks over 14 thousand spins, which is huge, it can't last so high much longer. Based on that, I think 'I Wanna Go' should manage to get the #1 spot on CHR. After the small updates of last week, it seems to have got a little bit of a further wind, which I think should carry it up well for a few more days. It's obviously near its peak, but however, it's not going to start freefalling next Tuesday or anything like that. 'Last Friday Night' will fall below it in around a week and a bit's time, I think. Maybe in time for the 9/4 chart, maybe not, but Britney will get the 9/11 number one. There is a chance that she doesn't, but I think that based on the fact that 'Last Friday Night' is already well into its decline while 'I Wanna Go' is probably near approaching its peak (but could still keep going), 'I Wanna Go' should get #1 by default.

I agree ever since it went top 5 it was pretty clear that this was going to be #1 either by default or in the normal sense...it might just hit #1 even with a negative bullet. But I seemed to always think it would reach the top spot early September...I would be shocked if it occurred next week. |

I don't believe the little kids thing. It just doesn't sound right, but I guess we'll find out in 2 days. As for the 4th single I'm sure they're aiming to do the video before she goes to Europe which means they should be shooting it in 2 weeks. I'm thinking we'll get the official announcement next week on what the 4th single is. I hope it's Inside Out or Criminal.

1. Love that interview! I think she's now in a really good place in her life, and her singles/tour have been successful this year, so I'm thrilled with the balance.
2. I really hope that the kids thing at the VMAs is not true....I'd rather have just a video montage with artists talking about her with music videos/performances interjected than some low-budget little kid thing - yuck! I also hope there's some sort of interaction with Britney onstage. I feel like there would be some sort of clues if she was performing, which I'm not seeing them, so I'm giving up on that hope - I just hope they do something to make it somewhat epic of a tribute and not something lame.
3. I still hope Single #4 is "Inside Out"
