So there is truth to Janet Jackson, Katy Perry and Selena Gomez! Well, I'm sold! Yeah...that makes it better. But, I would rather 6 songs (1 from each album). I hope they don't just do three songs. Still pulling for: BOMT-Demi OIDIA-Miley or something Slave-Janet Toxic-Katy Gimme more-Nicki/Kesha Circus-Gaga or something Hold it against me/I wanna go-Britney |

I don't think she will perform, and honestly I'd rather she doesn't. We all know what's gonna happen if she does "perform"... she won't be able to live up to the hype for the millionth time

Considering Janet's people have denied that she is participating in the tribute and Selena said that she is not performing at all, I wouldn't take that article as any kind of confirmation. It seems as though that site is just reporting on the rumors that have been floating around. |

All these rumors make it more exciting even if they are fake if you ask me. Makes me want to NOT miss this iconic event. The word gets around so it's promo for MTV & Britney. And we know how the ratings can be when MTV mentions Britney as a possible performer, presenter, or in attendence...through the roof! :)

I'm thinking it might be that there are so few rising songs close behind, and therefore stations are opting to keep LFN in power since there are few other choices, whereas if 6-10 was filled with songs with huge bullets, say, then LFN might be freefalling and IWG would get #1 temporarily? That's probably more slizzy failed logic though. |
