I don't get people treating IUSA as if it flopped. It went top 20 in the Hot 100 and it peaked at #6 on Pop, it was a solid hit. What really derailed Circus was the release of Radar, anything else would had gone top 10 and if she had released Out From Under or Unusual You they would had gone top 5.
So, I hope that they release Inside Out next. I think people and radio are ready for a Britney mid-tempo and would embrace it

The problem that I have with the BFB is that it sounds like the Black Eyed Peas featuring Britney Spears.... and that there are stronger tracks on the album like this and Inside Out.

The real problem I have with BFB ever being released as a single is that it had a televised promo performance and two non-televised performances that were shown online. That is three more promo performances that IUSA ever got and certainly three more than IWG got. However BFB sold four digital downloads and IWG was almost propelled to the top ten on iTunes. I think that pretty much says it all.

I agree- but maybe it was because the Big Fat Bass performance was almost horrific on Good Morning America. I love the song, it's one of my favorites on the disc, but I don't want it as fourth single and unfortunately I can bet $1,000 that they will release it fourth. By the time the fourth single is released summer will be wrapping up and I want Inside Out released 4th- NOT Big Fat Bass.

I Wanna Go will be massive considering it peaked so well on iTunes when Femme Fatale came out. The general public doesn't know it yet, but they are going to have their convertible tops and windows down blaring this song on the radio this summer! I, for one, am among those people, but with the remixes! :)

It peaked at #14 on iTunes when the album came out, correct? This is going to smash so badly! I really need the adds date to be June 14th, it's the perfect date!

Why didn't they hire a better director like Joseph Khan or Francis Lawrence?
I just hope the video is on par with HIAM and TTWE, which are amazing

Why didn't they hire a better director like Joseph Khan or Martin Lawrence? I just hope the video is on par with HIAM and TTWE, which are amazing Martin Lawrence, the African American actor? I think you mean Francis Lawrence. And my guess is that they may be more expensive to hire?

Her visuals are killer and considering the fact that Britney may not really dance in the video, she can still make it a spectactle.

I agree- but maybe it was because the Big Fat Bass performance was almost horrific on Good Morning America. And that's why I wanted IWG instead of BFB. BFB is the type of song that you need to really sell to an audience and sell it really well. That performance wasn't able to do that and its itunes performance reflected that. BFB would probably need a lot of great promotion like a fantastic video and solid performances. And considering that Britney is focusing on tour rehearsals and they aren't hiring a high-profile director, it's most likely we won't get either. IWG is a song that sells itself, as indicated by its itunes performance. It's the best single choice given the circumstances.

I can't wait to see the video/single cover!
Finally, we are getting a REAL summer smash from Britney. The last attempt at this was "Radar" in 2009 and we all know how that went. LOL!

Damn I love when songs are sped up. They sound soooooooooo good on radio! I personally want to change the station when I hear my favorite song sped up. I find it extremely annoying.

Did this already debut on the Hot 100 when the album came out?

I don't think IYSA was a flop exactly, but it underperformed especially compared to the first two singles, largely thanks to a bad music video, an incoherent single entendre, and no promotion. I would say performance-wise it was Judas-like a mild hit at best, but for entirely different reasons.
