4. Adam Lambert’s return to the AMAs stage. Okay, okay — Adam didn’t perform, exactly. In fact, he was simply charged with the task of introducing OneRepublic. Still, given the unnecessary media attention paid to his AMAs performance two years ago, the Glam One’s hilariously wink-wink quip (”Wow! Has is been two years already? Time flies.”) was delivered with just the right amount of tongue-in-cheekiness and Lambert sass. bit.ly/smOZEf

hot99.5 ADAM LAMBERT: New Music Will Be Sexy, Dancy And HOT People have heard it, and judging from what ROLLING STONE and others who have heard the project, it's going to be some amazing music!
This part has me really excited
"And, now that LAMBERT is on the RCA label imprint, the new home of the former ZOMBA and JIVE artists, the promotions team headed by "King" Joe Riccitelli, the "Don" of all things pop music promotion, Lambert's promotional push to radio - and other media - promises to be nothing short of overwhelming as his music goes for US radio airplay!"
My guess the single could drop before the freeze and have some stations spin the song for the holidays. I think with them moving everything up he may have got a performance. *fingers crosses*. Adds would go for Jan and than full promo.

Roger Taylor talks about Extravaganza and Adam Lambert
Looks like there may be more potential collaborations with Queen for Adam in the future!
This is a quote from Roger Taylor from a recent interview:
Q: Wrapping up, what are the thoughts about any potential Queen shows in the future?
A: Well actually, we did a thing for MTV Europe – the VMA Awards, about two weeks ago. We did three or four songs at the end of the show with Adam Lambert, who has really matured and has become an incredible performer. I think Brian and I will very possibly be doing something with Adam, because he’s really great. His range is unequaled, I think, and his stage presence is really quite something these days. He’s a phenomenal performer and it went very well, so that was very interesting, actually. We would hope to be doing something with Adam at some point.
Queen Talking With Adam Lambert For Additional Concerts
billboard
After his success with Queen at the MTV Europe Awards last month, Adam Lambert and the band are in talks to do more concerts.
While Queen drummer Roger Taylor is at the finish line in creating a band-authorized Queen tribute band, he and his bandmates have begun discussions with Adam Lambert to front Queen in concert.
The former “American Idol” star sang with Taylor and guitarist Brian May at the MTV Europe Awards on Nov. 6, performing “The Show Must Go On” and “We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions.”
“He has grown into a really great performer with an astonishing voice with a range that’s great,” Taylor told Billboard.biz in Los Angeles while finalizing the band for a Queen Extravaganza tour. ” We would like to work with him again. There’s nothing signed just yet but we’re talking about live dates. It could be very exciting.”
Adam Lambert's Sophomore Album, 'Trespassing,' Will Be Amazing. Here's Why
buzzworthy.mtv
Since rising to fame as a contestant on the eighth season of "American Idol," Adam Lambert has enjoyed a level of fame that most Idol alumni only dream of: His debut album, For Your Entertainment, debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200, and his Pink-penned single "Whataya Want from Me" cracked the Top 10 and earned him a Grammy nomination. With writing credits from A-list stars 'n scribes like Dr. Luke, Lady Gaga, and Ryan Tedder on his first album, it's no wonder that Glambert's record got so much attention.
"My sources tell me that "Better Than I Know Myself" is a piece of flaw-free radio candy, a stunning midtempo with a powerhouse chorus that's like a pumped-up " Whataya Want From Me", and it should cement Adam's place in the pop A-list.
According to Toby Knapp from Hot 99.5 in DC here is the release schedule for Adam's single "Better Than I Know Myself" from his sophomore album "Trespassing".
Single release date in the US to radio is Sunday 12/18 to coincide with an overseas performance. The single will go up on iTunes 12/19 with a wide release to follow, on Tuesday the 20th when all new music is released.

Sam Lansky @samlansky Alright, Glamberts, go crash @muumuse's site. I got to hear #BetterThanIKnowMyself in full and reviewed it for y'all!
First full review of the song:
muumuse Get ready, y’all, because the evolution of Adam Lambert has just begun.
See, I’ve had a chance to listen to the new Adam Lambert single, “Better Than I Know Myself,” — in full. Great news — it’s really, really good.
First off, I should say that the snippet, which was released today, doesn’t really do the song justice. You can hear that the chorus sees Adam reaching into the higher part of his register, with booming, “Halo”-like drums and a skittering backbeat. But part of what makes the song magical is the way it builds from the opening of whining synths and a nicely percussive backing track, then builds instrumentally into the chorus. Dr. Luke‘s signature style as a producer is the juxtaposition of relatively subdued verses and a huge, explosive chorus, and “Better Than I Know Myself” does that magnificently.
The added talents of Claude Kelly, too, who remains one of the finest songwriters currently in the game, augment the song’s impact, since Claude has a way of cutting to the core of an emotional conflict with quick, elegant images. “Cold as ice, and more bitter than a December winter night/That’s how I treated you,” Adam sings in the opening lyrics, a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it simile that speaks volumes.
The most emotionally potent moment is the bridge, where the richer synths yield to a tinkling piano and the lyrics turn unexpectedly vulnerable: “I get kinda dark/Let it go too far/I can be obnoxious at times/But try and see my heart.” It’s a lovely turn, with a candor that’s refreshing to hear in pop music, and it makes the song truly memorable.
In my piece last week for MTV Buzzworthy, I wrote that “My sources tell me that ‘Better Than I Know Myself’ is a piece of flaw-free radio candy, a stunning midtempo track with a powerhouse chorus that’s like a pumped-up ‘Whataya Want From Me,’ and it should cement Adam’s place in the pop A-list.” I’m sticking by this, especially the latter statement. “Better Than I Know Myself” is more radio-ready as anything on his last album, and I would be stunned if it didn’t perform excellently on the charts, and catapult Adam way further into the realm of superstardom than he’s ever been before.

"Adam Lambert & BF 'Jet Lag + Vodka = Blackout' ... But We've Made Up"
Adam Lambert says he and his reality star boyfriend have buried the hatchet after their drunken brawl at a Finland gay bar last night ... blaming the whole thing on jet lag and vodka.
Lambert went to Twitter this morning ... and posted a mathematical equation to sum up the last few hours:
"Jetlag + Vodka = blackout.
Us ÷ blackout = irrational confusion.
jail + guilt + press = lesson learned.
Sauli + Adam + hangover burgers = laughing bout it. :)"
As we previously reported, Adam and Sauli were arrested for multiple assaults ... but were both released soon after .. and cops now say they will not pursue criminal charges.
So the question ... Is domestic violence more tolerable/laughable when it's 2 gay guys rather than a man and a woman?

Man if you are blacking out because of vodka then you might want to lay off the booze. And if Adam and his bf were really shoving each other then that's not good at all. The reports are sort of murky though. But it's not a bad point to say that if this were a famous guy and girl arguing outside a bar and it got physical between the two of them, then it would be all over the media as DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!!!!! full stop and not just waved off as drunken bar antics.

This is true, but Finland isn't America. The laws of the land are not the same. Based on the Finnish fans drunken bar antics is just another day in the park for the them. According to the reports there were no fist flying but more like they were wresling each other and no one got hurt. If it was serious I'm sure the authorities would have taken action. Adam is the most famous American to them so it would have made a huge scandal if they wanted to sensationalize it. I think the Finnish people would have a problem with the authorities if they made a big deal out of a incident that happens everyday in their local bars because he is a famous American. Love those Finnish they know how to party hard.

Oh wow, that's not good that he got into an altercation. He seriously needs to lay off the drinking. Besides that, I'm still loving the single, and I can't wait for the full album.

Well, hopefully this will be a wake-up call to dial back the drinking some. He can't afford to mess up at this point of promo. Can't wait to hear the album!! Really like this first song!!! :) :) :)
