10,000 songs in a row = 24 days?

WFLZ is one of the more highly regarded CHRs in the country. While I hope this becomes a good battle, Cox can't go into this battle with a pickup truck trying to fight a tank. See their failed fight against V103 in Atlanta when they had 97 Jams a few years ago.

Not necessarily saying Hot has to win, but at least they can stay competitive if given all the right resources.

If Cox is willing to commit some serious $$$$$ into this battle, they can make a nice piece of change, in spite of WFLZ's heritage as a CHR/Pop powerhouse as one of the top two or theee Deep South top 40 powerhouses of the past 40 years.
IIRC, Scott Shannon was doing mornings here in 1983 when he left to go to Z100 when the format had exploded in popularity thanks to KIIS-FM, which hit a 10.0 share in the fall of 1984, a mere 2 1/2 years after being launched with Rick Dees doing wakeups.
