This was from Klymaxx's second album before they broke through with their third album a couple of years later. I believe it was the first single ever produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, which makes it kind of an interesting piece of contemporary R&B history. It hit #78 R&B in 1982.
While this isn't quite as amazing as some of the work Jimmy & Terry did later on, it's still one of my favorite Klymaxx singles. The influence of The Time is incredibly evident.

This is a jam.
Jimmy & Terry produced 4 out of the 9 tracks on this album. Another track on the album they produced ("The Man In My Life") contains their signature keyboard riff.
Jimmy and Terry also produced "Multi-Purpose Girls" the Vanity 6 sounding lead single (That was quickly pulled off shelves by Solar) and "Lock and Key" for their 3rd album "Girls In the Band" which ended up being shelved only to be renamed as "Meeting in the Ladies Room" and released the next year. (without the lead single)
