Style waiting patiently to get into top 10 Yeah it's interesting how it didn't blow up instantly the way Shake It Off and Blank Space did but rather climbed more gradually...

I think Single of the Week is back, but in a new form! There are now 15 free songs on iTunes now. If you click the 'Free on iTunes' button on the home page (the banner, not the quick link), you can discover them. Seems to look like the Amazon free songs thing that they just recently discontinued. Hopefully this is a regular thing. The songs are: "Been Waitin'" by: Nude Beach "Simple Machine (Alternate Version)" by: Guster "If It Does" by: Robin Bacior "Feel the Volume" by: Jauz "For No One" by: Houndmouth "Now We Die" by: Machine Head "Face the Fire" by: Michelle Chamuel "Tired Oak" by: Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas "Break Down the Walls" by: Asking Alexandria "Brother, Do You Know the World?" by: Hiss Golden Messager "Unkinder (A Tougher Love)" by: THUMPERS "Obedear" by: Purity Ring "Eyes" by: Rogue Wave "It All Feels Right" by: Washed Out "Infinite Cities" by: The Bright Light Social Hour ETA: Or click here: itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewFeature?cc=us&id=960482947 (US link)

"Blank Space" got there when 1989 was initially released and stayed there because the video was released so quickly.

Now at iTunes! itunes.apple.com/us/album/fourfiveseconds-single/id961384859 Rihanna Previews New Sound With Kanye West, Paul McCartney Track"FIRST GLIMPSE AT MY NEW MUSIC!!!" Rihanna tweeted on Saturday (Jan. 24) when she released a new track, featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney, called "FourFiveSeconds." The song, off her forthcoming eighth studio album, is a departure from 2012's Unaplogetic. A plucky acoustic guitar complements Rihanna's vocals. "I think I've had enough/ Might get a little drunk/ I say what's on my mind/ I might do a little time," she sings on the opening lines of the track. "Cause all of my kindness/ Is taken for weakness." For Kanye's part, he sings, "Woke up an optimist/ Sun was shining, I'm positive/ Then I heard you was talking trash/ Hold me back/ I'm about to spazz." Later, on the chorus, Kanye and Rihanna harmonize together, "Now I'm four, five seconds from wildin'/ And we got three more days 'till Friday/ I'm just tyring to make it back home by Monday morning." The track seems to be the same one Kanye previewed earlier this week at the iHeartMedia Music Summit at Burbank, Calif.'s iHeartRadio Theatre. It also marks his latest collaboration with McCartney, as well as with Rihanna, who has teamed up with the rapper on tracks including "Run This Town" and "All of the Lights."

4 million people already own the album "1989" which is not helping sales of the digital single.

Not surprised to see Missy's tracks higher than Katy's considering hers are discounted at 69 cents and her singles came out in the pre-digital age ("Lose Control" is the only one to have sold over a million). Katy's tracks, however, are some of the highest-selling digital tracks of all time.
