Only One by Kanye West featuring Paul McCartney on keyboard, could be Paul McCartney's first Hot 100 appearance since 2005

So, Sir Paul is only on keyboard, but not vocals?

Only One by Kanye West featuring Paul McCartney on keyboard, could be Paul McCartney's first Hot 100 appearance since 2005 At some point on here, I'd made a poll asking which artists who'd, at that time, managed an active streak of at least four consecutive decades on the Hot 100, would be able to score another Hot 100 hit in the 2010s. I believe, at that time, the general consensus was it was unlikely for any of them. If "Only One" does chart, McCartney would become (I think) the second qualifying act from that poll to score a 2010s chart hit, with Michael Jackson being the first.

Sledgehammer up to #40, their first Top 40 hit! Quick question, slightly off-topic: let's suppose Sledgehammer sold 50k copies during Dec-Jan, does that mean 5k copies will be added to the album's first-week figures, or Billboard only counts the singles sold after the album's release?

So is there no Single of the Week this week in the US? That's what it looks like...hoping that's just a one-week absence, because I like it for new artist promo (e.g. BØRNS last week).

I was expecting Rae Sremmurd ("No Flex Zone") to have it since they were the only major release and are a new artist.

It sort of seems like they've been steering away from doing free tracks on the same week as their new releases - the BÃRNS EP came out in November and the free tracks from George Ezra, Walk The Moon, etc. happened later than their accompanying release...though Tove Lo's was the same week as the album, so: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Guess it wasn't. It wouldn't surprise me if it was her next week. I've been able to sniff out almost all of them before they are put on to the front page lol.

Well looks like we'll be finding out shortly if iTunes has scrapped Single of the Week for good. Noticed that the 'free on iTunes' link is now gone. PLEASE don't be gone!
ETA: Nothing :'( :'( :'( :'(

Oh that just sucks. This was one of the best promo spots a new artist could get, and it's just gone :(

Noooo. :'( Seriously such a bummer. That was a great way for new artists to get their name out, and Apple just had to take it away. >:( Hopefully it might make a return in the future. But knowing Apple, they're done giving away free stuff.

Never realized until now that Uptown Funk has two versions both in the top 20 lol... EDIT: apparently it did not exist until yesterday so that explains it So this means that all versions combined Ed is at just over 60% of Mark/Bruno

Aww. This would have been a great week for Night Terrors of 1927 to get SOTW. $5.99 album and a single that is perfect to their usual selections. Shame shame.
