Lil Wayne is looking like he will debut at #2 this week. If Katy maintains #1 until the MVAs then she will be #1 the week after that too potentially...So what looks like a weak #1 single could very well be a 3-4 week #1 single.

plus Next week will be the one year anniversary of the release of The Teenage Dream Album. So it will be fitting for LFN to remain #1

How fast are they going to raise the price back on LFN now? Or will they leave it low this week in celebration of Katy's fifth #1? LOL I'd keep it at $0.69 and get an ad on iTunes saying "GET THE RECORD BREAKING KATY PERRY SMASH HIT 'LAST FRIDAY NIGHT' FOR ONLY $0.69 FOR A LIMITED TIME! THIS IS A CAN'T MISS CELEBRATION!!!" All 5 singles had a hand in making the record. Each one hitting number one is just as important as the other. I say make all 5 singles (and the album) on sale.

yep, She Will is definitely peaked at this point. You can almost see (via Kworb.net/pop) what the newcomers will be. You and I is up to #35! Katy with a bullet! Cheers with a bullet!

"Someone Like You" is already near the top 20. I don't really expect it to reach or even match the success of "Rolling in the Deep" but I really hope it could break the top 10 or even the top 5.
"If I Die Young" is consistent in the 13-16 range for the past few weeks, I think if this could touch the top 10 it would soar all the way to the top 5.
"Cheers" is redeeming Rihanna after the California King Bed didn't take off.
I hope "Pumped Up Kicks" will get the #1 spot

It's a really different song than what's being played, imo.

LFN/Missy Elliott version has plunged to No. 209.
"Pumped Up Kicks" has been a pleasant surprise.

She Will's margin is increasing again. I really think it is going to be #1 next week because this song is showing no signs of plummeting.
Kind of ticked that Cheers got pulled but I'm guessing IDJ may plan to let the airplay build up a little more so that when they put it back up the sales will explode and make the song rocket into the top ten.

I think it's a smart move on their behalf. Instead of selling irrelevant amounts of downloads, let it explode.

Someone Like You needs a video, ANY VIDEO, so that it can hope to compete with You and I and not get blocked from #1.

Love You Inside Out was number 2 in Cash Box not 3.
Al Coury former president of RSO complained to Billboard that Spirits Having Flown spent only 6 weeks at number 1 in the Billboard charts since in Recors World was 10 weeks number 1 and in Cash Box 12 weeks number 1.
In view of the above I dont think there was a pact between Billboard for Love You Inside out which spent only 5 weeks in the top 10.

I have no idea what happened. Not sure if this was a doing of Def Jam or what, but it better be back to where it was before this happened, (#12) really soon.
