anything can happen, who knows that new Lil Wayne song might get an enormous digital lead throughout the week, also the discount effect might ware off fast (I remember the Only Girl discount didn't rise the weekly sales by very much) Well Only Girl was only discounted for a day or two and at 99 cents though...

Well on top of the respectable lead She Will has with the main version, there is also a second version charting, so the lead is actually even bigger. Interesting... Edit: #1 & #145 to be exact

Wow I didn't realize Pumped Up Kicks was that high! Or that MLJ had remained so steady.

Time to press the panic button for Team Katy? I don't think they anticipated such high sales for Lil Wayne.....they also didn't anticipate the remix with Missy selling so poorly. What an EPICFAIL of an attempt to get to #1. LMFAO!
Maroon 5's MLJ sales is surprisingly so steady....looks like another 220k sales this coming week. I wonder if it will be Hot 100 #1 two weeks from now. Airplay will be high enough by then.

Lil Wayne has a 53% lead over Maroon 5. And Maroon 5 had a huge lead too, remember. Weezy's definitely in the running for #1 it seems. So is MLJ. LFN may rise above PRA (this is the 9/3 Hot 100), but it really looks like LFN may not make it. :(

I do hope MLJ makes it to the summit eventually so Christina can tie Brit and Beyonce with 5 #1's.

Wayne should start dropping Tomorrow, as all these front laded songs eventually do after a few days.

Its definitely possible.

64% lead for Weezy now. :O Assuming MLJ drops to 195k next week, he could possibly sell over 300k, which would be enough to get #1, but I just don't see how it's going to keep its lead. I know it's his new single, but airplay is nowhere near strong enough to keep it up there. I see it expieriencing what "Skyscraper" did. A huge debut in the first few days (although "She Will"'s lead is bigger), and then it will start to drop in the second half of the week.

Do you remember how '6 Foot 7 Foot' did on iTunes in the first week? I have the positions, but do you remember how the pop bars went? Regardless, I think this new one will probably hold up at #1 for the rest of the sales week. I don't know how many sales that will translate too, but 300K is probably quite possible.

Wasn't "6 Foot 7 Foot" like a huge comeback single though? And I heard it everywhere. It was pretty big. "She Will" is most likely just an urban attempt while "How to Love" continues its smashing. This definitely does have a shot at debuting at #1, but I just don't think it's going to hold its stay for very long.

TC4: 6'7: #9 John: #22 How To Love: #5 He's got a great start to this era.

How fast are they going to raise the price back on LFN now? Or will they leave it low this week in celebration of Katy's fifth #1? LOL

LOL I'd keep it at $0.69 and get an ad on iTunes saying "GET THE RECORD BREAKING KATY PERRY SMASH HIT 'LAST FRIDAY NIGHT' FOR ONLY $0.69 FOR A LIMITED TIME! THIS IS A CAN'T MISS CELEBRATION!!!"
