Missy Elliot is borderline irrelevant. I think it'll probably be all people already interest in Katy Perry buying her new remix. For that, I think it would be more effective if they priced it at 0.99 or lower.

Oh, I don't doubt that her Madgesty worked with thye Timbas for a U.S. hit in 2008- but, being her almost 50 and knowing U.S. radio ageism, that probably played a factor- note that it was her first single- aftwer 25 years in the biz- to tack anyone else's name onto it ("Take a Bow" had Babyface on backing vocals, but he was not credited as a main act). She's had enough success that she shouldn't feel the need to go down that route regularly from here on out (let's hope that we don't see a similar collaboration for the first single of her upcoming album).
And, it's true- the LFN remix doesn't need to sell HUGE numbers to get that No. 1.

LFN is not holding well on Itunes, so I feel like this will need around 70k of downloads, plus, her AI is dropping, so, hmm, no sure this is going to help it. Not gonna lie, I'm kind of hoping it doesn't go one just because her label is cheap and should have gotten a more recognized singer, so, kind of hoping this blows up on their face.

I don't get why everyone thinks this. Remember a few years ago when songs would be released a few weeks to a month before they hit digital retailers? Didn't hurt their sales at all. Besides, it only needs to sell 50-60k to help the song reach #1. |

If this doesn't sell enough it is not because it leaked. It is because the label waited too much, put a "nobody" on it and it will probably too expensive.

The TTWE remix switched the song up a big and added dubstep. The best part of this LFN remix will be since Missy is being added, it ll likley get a RHY boost which it really needed since its still low top 10 there, while it peaked on its other two main formats. it can deff grow more on rhy now |

LFN's AI aren't dropping; the daily gains are just less than they were.
The only difference in TTWE was the beginning part, I think, with Nicki Minaj's rap; after that,l it was pretty much the same, just with Ke$ha's vocals tacked on. Remember, though, that "E.T." wasn't an afterthought "remix" with Kanye West; it was released right around the time the track started climbing in airplay.
