I was looking forward to this one after I saw the video of her performing it during one of her Pride appearances this year. I like this. Vocally, she sounds a lot better here than she does on her other release out right now called "Tenderness" (I feel that she is more restrained on that one).

This should be coming out soon. Mixin' Marc & Tony Svedja did a couple different mixdowns, and her A&R team is putting the finishing touches on the final version to service to dance radio & mixshows. An absolutely amazing song and brilliant production, it almost reminds me of Easy As Life in a way. A great "diva" record :)

I am hoping that the final version won't have the vocals so spaced out and with so many buildups and breakdowns throughout the track. I had to make my own edit losing all of those buildups because it began to get on my nerves.

The original version has been promo'd out to a few DJ's, it's produced by Mixin' Marc & Tony Svedja with a full club mix (7:32) and no edit or mixshow for now, but that might change soon. The song was actually written by Janice Robinson of Livin' Joy, and Deborah's husband Lascelles Stephens.

The Club Remix has beats under the verses and choruses unlike the Original Mix. The Papercha$er remix is a big electro mess. The pitch shifted loops of her high notes are painful. The RnG & DJ Skribble mix is really energetic and big room-ish. The Young Collective mixes are pretty and uplifting. They are a bit a different from the earlier version that was played on Derek & Romaine's show last week. The club mix meanders a bit but the mixshow is nice and tight.
I like the RnG & DJ Skribble mixes and the Young Collective mixshow in addition to the new Club Remix of the original.
