No love for this one?
This was 4th single and final overall from "Back to Black". This was the 3rd single in the U.S. and the last single promoted to radio in the U.S.
This song was produced by Salaam Remi. It contains an interpolation of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrel.
This peaked at #16 in the U.K., and peaked at #40 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart in the U.S. i believe it lingered in the Top 50 at UAC for a while.
This was my favorite single from "Back to Black" at the time of it's U.S. release. It soon became my 2nd favorite after the title track's release.
The storyline in the video was damn near perfect for the song. This is her final music video.

Love it. It's a classy/sophisticated record.

It does NOT sample Aint No Mountain High Enough. The band played it live. This is my favorite song of all time, because it hits all of the emotions - the pretending to be over someone, knowing you really arent, and then saying well, I have to move on right? I cant though.
Its just this narrative that is tragic and honest.

I didn't know that. Ok so it's an interpolation.

This is a terrific song, easily my favorite by Amy. I love the instrumentation so much... it really compliments her voice.

I love the original, but my favorite version is the Al Usher remix. I was surprised that he was able to turn it into a dance mix while keeping the integrity of the original.

Great song from a great album. I always feel weird whenever I see the video today because I distinctly remember watching it with friends at school outside the guidance counselor's office in 2007 while we were doing our college apps and talking about how she looked like her drug problems were about to kill her .
