Fourth single off Cold Day Memory. +16 on 7 active rock stations. This is my least favorite song on the album, and three of my four least favorite songs on the album have now become singles. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) At least I dug "Unraveling" a lot. I'll guess this either just misses or just barely skims the top 50.

I would have gone with "Karma." That's the third time I've said that.

I would have gone with "Karma." That's the third time I've said that. I think after "Unraveling" they should've done "Confession" and then "Better Place".

If I were them, I would have gone with Better Place 2nd and then Confessions 3rd because after "Unraveling", they needed a slightly heavier riffier song before going back to a lighter song. And then I would have closed out the era with "Splinter" 4th. "Karma" would also be an option though, I agree. If they had it in them to go 5 singles, I would have gone "Unraveling", "Better Place", "Confessions", "Karma", "Splinter". Whoever chooses their singles is stupid. If I meet them again, I'ma tell them to hire a panel of us to decide, cuz we'll get it right. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

But regardless Sevendust were quite successful this era despite "stupid singles" being released. It's their best performing era since 2004's Seasons. Do you guys think that if they went with your single choices they would be as succesful, if not more, than the original picks?

I remember them saying they were gonna try to make it to 10 records and then call it. Maybe they'll do 9, take a big hiatus, do a comeback record for #10, and call it a career. Either way, hats off to them. Having consistent success from 8 consecutive albums is a pretty awesome achievement no matter how you slice it.
