I just discovered this SAW-produced song from the 80s by British singer, Princess. I love it. I can relate a lot to some of the lyrics and the melody and arrangement/production of the song really complements them well. This kind of sounds like a slower, more melancholic version of early Whitney Houston imo.

This wasn't a remake of the Earth Wind and Fire song, I guess.

^ Yeah, you are right...lol, it wasn't a remake of that song.
I love SAW productions and this cut would rank up there for me from an overall scale of their work. For whatever reason imo I think their earlier stuff (like with Mel and Kim, Haywoode, Princess, The Three Degrees, Ochi Brown, etc) is some of their best work. I'll Keep On Loving You, Say I'm Your Number One, and If It Makes You Feel Good are also good from her debut album.

Those other Princess songs you mentioned are good too, but After The Love Has Gone seemed to resonate with me the most.
