With "Warrior" barely scraping top 30 on Alternative, and "3" just sneaking inside top 60, they may be about done there. I assume the heavier stations will play anything new. I can't think of another band that is so inconsistent in releasing singles I enjoy.

^ But it's not from the same era. And besides, "3" was not released as a radio single. I expect this to do well on active definitely.

^ It must've have been at #51 last week with 109 spins, not #251. Oh and as for the song, it sounds like a generic Disturbed song. It doesn't exactly interest me.

Was wondering when this song would hit the chart.

Something is clearly screwed up. If it suddenly just appeared in the top 50 of the chart with however many spins at #33, then my guess is that it couldn't have 109 spins last week, and then suddenly jump from outside the top 50 to #33 in one day. Unless it's been on the chart for the past week, and we've been negligent in posting that it made the top 50 several days ago.

^ I was wondering that also. It's also possible Mediabase forgot to include it in the chart last week and caught a glimpse of it's data and added it yesterday to the chart. Or we could've been negligent.

#251 wasn't a typo, by the way. Also, it definitely didn't appear on Mediabase until yesterday. The chances of it escaping the eagle eyes of both myself & Shadowscorp are one in a million haha.

Definitely a huge mistake on behalf of Mediabase.

It's possible that Disturbed's label didn't register the single with Mediabase until yesterday. I'm pretty sure that songs only show up in their system if they've been registered in some way. We had a song get two plays on WCCC in one week, which should have been enough to make WCCC show up as a format starter on our song. But it wasn't registered with Mediabase so there's no airplay of our song in their database. Anyway, I think it's equally likely that Reprise Records is at fault for this.

I think Disturbed need to come back with a completely left-field album when/if they come out of their hiatus. I really think they should try an acoustic album, or, even better because of David's operatic voice, an epic hard rock-orchestral album similar to what Metallica did with S&M.

I agree more with the latter than the former, it seems to fit their modus operandi a lot better.

Interesting shout, Dev. You could say if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but I would like to see them broaden their horizons with something a little different. I think the internal problems they have are too severe to see a solution anytime soon, though.

Internal problems? I haven't heard anything about internal problems. You haven't? I think the band has attempted to paper over the cracks in more recent interviews, but Draiman spilt the beans earlier in July...

I think the band has attempted to paper over the cracks in more recent interviews, but Draiman spilt the beans earlier in July... And he clarified later on that it wasn't a bad blood thing...many many times. In fact he's stated several times that they just are sick of the way the music industry is at this time and need time out from it.
