Not a single, but easily my favourite song off Sasha Fierce and one of my absolute faves from Beysus. Fantastic vocals and a melancholy that reminds me so much of early '90s indie rock, I couldn't help falling for this.
Who would've thought, just six months ago, that I'd be starting Beyoncé threads in Nostalgia? :'(

I love this so much, ugh probably within my top three of I Am... Sasha Fierce. I think it's entirely underrated.

I still to this day hate this song. 'Disappear' is a fave from the I Am side.

Great song. Her live performance of this leading to a cover of 'The Beautiful Ones' is amazing. :'(

This and 'Disappear' are two of my favorites from I Am... Sasha Fierce. Wow, agree 100%. My 2 favourite songs from the whole album. It's perfection.

I too prefered Disappear over Broken Hearted Girl. There's something in Disappear that makes you feel her pain, it truly is depressing "and then...you disappear". I'm totally gonna listen to this tomorrow. This album was her best, as most songs were good.

After shunning I Am...Sasha Fierce for two years, I've been listening to it a lot lately. There are a lot of good tracks on it. This is one of them.

The bonus track from the deluxe edition of the "I Am" disc of I Am...Sasha Fierce.
I have always loved this song so much. I kind of wish Beyonce would actually put out more songs with this kind of sound. Lyrically this song just sits well with me and she executes the vocals so beautifully on this. I know this is sorta a hit or miss among die hard fans of her, but this is one of the few good things about I Am in my books. It's funny how this and Scared of Lonely are bonus tracks and still are in my top 4 in general from both discs collectively.

This and "Smash Into You" are really the only times imho when Beyonce actually pulls off the lite-pop/AC sound she was going for on the I Am.... portion of I Am.... Sasha Fierce without sounding forced & contrived. This one is definitely a highlight.

I like it a lot. The live performance from the I Am...Yours DVD is incredible and the production is more restrained there.

She could have kept this bullshit. Other than the singles off the "I Am..." side, 'Smash Into You' & 'Disappear' are my faves.

Broken Hearted Girl was just a mess. Preach. One of, if not, the worst song in her entire catalog DC or solo imo.

This is BY FAR the best song from the I Am side. I hate most of the songs on it. It really sounds like 90s shoegaze, so it makes me a bit nostalgic. She pulls it off surprisingly well.

Great song. I know I'm in the minority here but I actually think IASF is her best album.

It really sounds like 90s shoegaze, so it makes me a bit nostalgic. Yeah, or more straightaway indie like Unrest or Tsunami. Her best ballad.

I never got why this bad song was such a fan favorite. *shrugs*

I never got why this bad song was such a fan favorite. *shrugs* The sobriety here, for one. It's only when she tweaks her melodramatic leanings I might listen in.
