That's a little ridiculous. Her album is done. When Epic is ready to go, they'll let her know. She might already know the tentative date but doesn't want to say. She may still remember talking about dates before GL, only to have them not happen and fans let down.

I don't get why. Ciara hasn't finished her album yet (as she was still recording) and has a new song out. Avril did finish the album and there is still nothing. It's October already.

LA seems really unwilling to release two artists at once. The logic there is that if they both flop, he doesn't have much to do, I guess? What The Hell was released January 1st I think 2011, and peaked around June. It took a really long time. I didn't want to follow that same timeline this time around, I really think she should have a Q4 release to give her sales a boost. But without even an adds date I dont think it's happening this year.

Gabriel tweeted about exciting things is going to happen this month. I hope it related to Avril's new music. But i don't think the album will come out soon

To be honest, I'm concerned about the overall flow of the record. I have faith in Epic, but with the list of people she's worked with, it can be brilliant or messy. I'm pretty sure the bulk of the record will be the Chad and David collaboration. L.A wouldn't have sent her back into the studio with them if he didn't want more of what they were doing. I think those Alex songs might be a little dated for 2013.

I wish to share my experience meeting Avril. I was just in Kingston and my two girls 9 & 15 (fans of Avril) recognized her going into a drug store. It was evident that she was not wanting to be noticed.

But when ever do young girls in a small town get to meet a star and idol?

We did not draw attention to her but quietly approached asking respectfully if she was who she was - Her response "Oh God" and put her head down - never making eye contact with the girls. Our response was that we simply and quietly thanked her for being her and went on our way. They also wanted to thank Chad who was beside her as their 13 year old brother is a huge fan - but they never got the chance as they were so uncomfortable with Avril's reaction.

She is just a person and I am sure has her bad days, maybe she was ill....but the impression that she just left 2 young girls was "mommy she really is not a nice person" - I have taught my children to always treat others the way they wish to be treated - regardless of your social status, emotional state or otherwise.

What a shame that she did not simply look at them and sincerely say "hello - and thank you" Instead she gave an insincere mumble and negative unwelcoming feeling.

"What The Hell" made it to #8 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart. I always find it odd that it missed the Top 10 on Mediabase. I guess #8-#11 were really close that week.
